Very good trip but a long day travelling to and from Milford Sound. The cruise on the Sound was excellent and the commentary was very good and informative. The whole area is extraordinarily beautiful and we saw seals and penguines. Plenty of stops to view the beautiful scenery. The food provided on the trip was simple but good

We had an amazing time with Cheeky Kiwi Travel to Milford sounds from Queenstown. We had the lovely Jeff who looked after us and we were extremely lucky to have had him as our driver and guide for the day! He was so knowledgable, made us laugh, knew all the good spots for photos and looked after us so well - he made the tour for us! It was a nice small group which felt very personal. Thank you so much and I would highly recommend.

A long drive from Queenstown with some areas without network hence it was good take this tour and not driving on our own. The boat ride was just ok, kind of a bit long and no mysterious sights. Mainly sights of few waterfalls, few birds and views of mountains.

Jeff was a fantastic guide and the whole experience was extremely well planned out. Ample photo stops and bathroom stops, and the cruise was also great. Convenient way to see Milford Sound if you don’t want to drive yourself. It’s a long day but absolutely worth it.

The cruise up Milford Sound was stunning and speaks for itself. It was on a slightly smaller boat that allowed for more close ups while still being comfortable. The 8+ hours of driving was amazing with a comfortable Merc van and a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. We stopped in places the large coaches didn’t. The lunch was really good, and the tour guide was able to talk about any topic and make the time fly, while driving super safe. I would do this again in the blink of an eye. Thanks Cheeky Kiwi.

Sonja was a wonderful guide. She informed and educated us. She kept us on time and in good spirits. She even convinced us that the rain all morning was a good thing. The skies cleared as we got on the boat and the waterfalls were amazing. We also saw a few seals and a line penguin!

Jordan has done a great great job in making us experience the wonder of Milford Sound. He told us a lot of things for every place, very knowledgeable, a good driver that made us feel comfortable in that long day trip.

Had the good fortune and luck to be in Jeff’s tour group - while the journey to Fiordland is mighty long, he had ample knowledge of history and stories from his camerawork to keep us entertained there and back. The tour group itself is smaller and therefore more nimble to get away from the larger crowds — we had multiple camera opportunities, and our boat was also smaller which allowed us to get up close with the wildlife and waterfalls. Can’t do that in a big ole pontoon! The day was unforgettable — and provided packed lunch was so cute and so tasty. Couldn’t have any more thanks to give for this experience!

Our driver and guide Colm, was very informative. His wealth of information about the area and NZ in general was really interesting and helpful, and sometimes funny. We had a lot of photo stops along the way to break the journey. The cruise was comfortable with amazing views. The lunch supplied was more than I expected. A long day but well worth the trip. Picked up and dropped off outside our hotel. Great service.
