Zadar Revealed: Authentic 2-Hour Old Town Walking Tour

Dorja was an awesome tour guide. She packed so much information in to this terrific city tour and was so relatable. I learned so much about Zadar and its history. 2 hours seemed just right and the price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the the tour of Zadar with our guide Ivan. He is very knowledgeable and his presentation was very clear. The included tasting of maraschino liqueur and cheeses were a nice addition also. Would recommend this tour.

Zadar proved to be an unexpected treasure to visit. The new Hyatt Regency is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Beautiful styling , well thought out bedrooms and bathrooms. Fun ride in the rowboat for 2 euros to the Old Town, which is mostly flat with marble walkways. Lots of Roman ruins, beautiful archeological museum. Lots of shops along wide and narrow lanes. The "Sea Organ" along the Riva is a technological marvel, as is the Led lights tribute to the sun. Lots of great restaurants. Zadar is a terrific city to visit along the Dalmatian Coast.

Our guide, Dorija , was very knowledgeable about each of the specific sites that we visited on our to tour of “old town” Zadar. She took her time and our tour never felt rushed. She interspersed historical information with commentary on contemporary life in Zadar. The tour was quite an enjoyable experience.

Very informative tour from Darija! She was full of knowledge of Zadar including all its rich layered history! It never felt rushed and even went into overtime. We are very glad we spent part of our day doing this!

There is so much history to learn about the area. The town itself is quite beautiful. Walking the old town is both easy and comfortable.

Easy to say this was the best tour of our entire 10 day cruise. First, I would HIGHLY recommend for those on a cruise to consider highly rated Viator tours vs the very expensive and crowded tours through a cruise company. We had 12 people in our tour which made moving to and through area quickly very simple. Our guide was FANTASTIC, informative on both the country and the sights we were seeing. She was funny, easy to understand and actually a joy to be with. She know the area, the short cuts, good places to eat, where to buy items ..... we got so much more than just a tour.
