Joseline was a wonderful guide. She explained the process of chocolate making and the history and culture of chocolate in Guatemala. Recommend highly for a fun, hands-on, educational, and tasty experience. Although I came solo, it was wonderful to have children and elders on my tour as well. I plan to give the chocolate bar I made as a gift as it looks so good.

This chocolate making class was a fun experience! The lady hosting (so sorry I didn't catch your name!) was fantastic - so charismatic and fun! The chocolate we made was delicious and we enjoyed learning about the cocoa process, eating cocoa fruit in different stages and trying 3 different drinks made from cocoa!

Good experience overall. The experience lasted 2 hours and was very interactive to keep people engaged. The host walked us through the entire process, with tasting samples at each step. You get to make your own bar and are given an array of ingredients to be experimental with. You also get to sample 3 drinks in total, with the Mayan hot chocolate drink served last. It is playful and insightful. A good way to learn about the process of chocolate, and some history. I tried my chocolate bar this morning and it is delicious!

This was a comprehensive and fun experience. The lady doing it (I don't remember her name) had a lot of energy and was fun.

Loved this class! It was super entertaining and interactive throughout. I learned so much about the chocolate making process - trivia worthy facts! The host Diana was amazing! Also the chocolate is delicious! I did this as a solo traveler and it was nice meeting other solo travelers because we became fast friends! I definitely recommend this tour!

The Bean to Bar workshop at ChocoMuseo Antigua was such a fun and memorable experience for our family. We learned all about the history of cacao in Guatemala and the step-by-step process of making chocolate. The highlight was when my son made his own coffee chocolate bar — he absolutely loved it, and it made the whole workshop extra special. The staff were engaging, knowledgeable, and made sure both kids and adults had a great time. This is a must-do activity in Antigua, especially for families looking for something both educational and delicious!
