Antwerp has it all! It is not only the city of the famous painter Rubens. The river Scheldt is also the cradle of Antwerp and everywhere you will enjoy beautiful views of the waterway. Our guided walk through the old city starts at the impressive 13th century castle that guarded the city and its medieval river port. Antwerp has now become one of the largest harbor cities in the world. Our Lady’s Cathedral is the most impressive church in the Low Countries. It welcomes you with countless paintings by world class artists of the 17th century. The absolute masterpieces are the Rubens paintings. We will also take you to the gothic guild houses at the Market Square. Antwerp railway station is a must-see. It is said to be the most beautiful railway station in the world. Nearby are the diamond district and the Jewish quarter. In your free time, you should try the local beer called a ’Bolleke’.

I never expected that it was a Dual Language tour group (English and Spanish). It would have been much easier and we could have covered a lot of places if it was not for the tour guide translating to Spanish every time. Because of time constraints, we were just left to go by ourselves to the Antwerp Central Station. I would suggest a separate tour for each Language to cover more places.

Adter slow start in railway station, Too much time spent in retail street. Except for all the diamond merchants, could have been anywhere; all the big brands. Didn't come to Brussels to see that. Once we got in area of main square, much more interesting. Adequate time on our own.

Well organized day tour of Antwerp. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, pleasant and multilingual for those that did not speak English. The pace of the tour was good and there was free time to have lunch and explore. Good day trip

My wife and I were in Brussels and wanted to see Antwerp. We found this tour that picked us up less than 1000ft from our hotel and took us all the way there and back. Yasmine was our tour guide and was extremely knowledge about the city, its history and all its famous landmarks, paintings, statues and buildings. The tour was both in English and Spanish, so feel free to book if you speak either language. I think Yasmine also speaks French, but she didn't during the tour. The tour was a little longer than it advertises due to traffic. We started out at 9:30am and got dropped off at 5:30pm. The city itself is really pretty with all kinds of modern shopping options available, a train station that will rival any Catholic Church in the world, several famous statues and a ton of restaurants. We had some free time in the middle of the day so we decided to eat in the Vlaeykensgang alley, which is a quaint little combination of restaurants and residences that dates back to the 15h century. We also go to do some shopping in the area for our grand niece which was great as well. We would highly recommend going on this tour if you are looking for a day tour of Antwerp.

The guide was very good in providing a lot of information relative to both the history and culture of Belgium, as well as descriptions of the sights. Not sure if Antwerp would be my first choice for a longer visit, and the amount of free time during the tour was substantial but not very useful: we weren’t sure what options were available, where we would get information/history about any of those options, or how we would get to them.

This is an easy trip to make from Brussels. I may have over-anticipated, but I was expecting more from the visit. When you think of Antwerp, generally your first thought is of diamonds. The diamond portion of this trip was walking down a sidewalk, peering into jewelry store windows like I can do at home. And that was on the way to the train station where we got about 10 minutes to look at its blend of old and new architecture but not much about history. My wife and I had a wonderful breakfast which included our first Belgian waffle. Our guide gave us a great tour of the city's history, which included interesting elements from across the centuries. It's an inexpensive tour and gives the traveler another look at some of the many areas in and around Brussels. If you just want to hit the highlights, this tour will do it. If you are really interested in learning about Antwerp's military and commerical history, a personal guide would be a better bet.

EXCELENT GUIDE. Very knowledgeable and informative, even though she had to juggle three languages. She made the tour worthwhile, gave all the important directions to sites. See in detail the cathedral with 4 Rubens paintings. The rest of the city is nice and easy to see in the allotted time. What a difference a guide makes!

Our guide was Jazmine, and her knowledge of Antwerp was outstanding. She spoke three languages for our group which was amazing. It was a great tour and I higjly recommend it to everyone.
