Lyon Unveiled: Funicular, Traboules & Hidden Gems Tour

Most of this tour was focused on Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon). Toni, our guide, was enthusiastic and seemed to truly enjoy sharing his vast knowledge of Lyon. His content was well organized and fascinating. For those who love historic architecture, the tour is a feast for the eyes, offering many photo opportunities. Toni also generously shared helpful tips on some of the best spots to explore and experience after the tour. My partner and I had a wonderful time and highly recommend this walking tour to anyone who is curious about Lyon.

Excellent tour and Tony's English was very good. He explained a lot of the history of Lyon and also discussed where to visit afterwards for lunch and dinner and shopping. I was notified by Tony's wife the night before by text and email where the meeting point was and how to recognize him (note this was a family run business). Afterwards a note of appreciation for taking the tour and written list of recommendations was sent. Excellent value and highly recommend.

If you are looking for a small, informative tour of Lyon this tour is for you! Tony is an amazing tour guide with a deep understanding of Lyon’s role in the European theatre both past and present. Be prepared to be wonderfully surprised at all you will learn on this tour!

This was a must do tour on a first day in Lyon! Toni was able to provide a good summary of the city of Lyon and for us it was a perfect day to begin our 6 day stay. He is a wonderful tour guide- very versed in history, language and provides all information clearly and with humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to Lyon! Thanks Toni

So much history to learn in Lyon! Definitely get a guide to point out highlights and neighborhoods. Our tour guide, Toni was extremely knowledgeable and took time after the tour to recommend restaurants and other points of interest in southern France.

Good tour. A little long. Guide was excellent--very friendly and pleasant and highly knowledgeable. Perhaps it would be even better if a little shorter (especially in the cold) and a bit less talking. Overall, a very good experience.
