Luc D. is a very friendly and funny tour guide. We learned lots of interesting facts about Antwerp that I couldn't find in any guidebook. There was something for everyone. The length of the tour was also perfect; I could have listened to Luc for another two hours because everything was so interesting. I can highly recommend this tour with Luc D. to everyone.

Luc D. was a great guide. He provided us with some great stories about the city and the whole tour went by like a breeze. The tour does include a short walk through the red light district. Very safe but just be aware of it if you are going with younger kids.

Flip was an extremely experienced and knowledgeable guide. He made it fun with his stories and legends, it was really interesting and amusing, despite the damp weather. We saw parts of Antwerp that we normally wouldn't have seen and learnt interesting facts. Would highly recommend as an alternative side to Antwerp

Wonderful night tour with Luc D thru the historic core of Antwerp ending with fantastic views over the city from the MAS museum. I’ve been on dozens of ‘free’ walking tours and this one was one of the best with Luc D (an energetic 72 yr old and Antwerp native) providing humor, insights, and a personal lived experience that made the somewhat stodgy Antwerp come to life.

Beren was a fantastic guide! Knowledge and entertaining, he made the history of Antwerpen cone alive! I especially enjoyed the story of Gilbert van Schoonbeke and his clean water monopoly.

Luc D gave us a great tour full of information and stories, and there was not a dull moment. Pacing was just right and we learned a lot and gained a huge appreciation for Antwerp. We enjoyed the night tour so much we came back the next day to see the daytime version!

Luc D was a great guide. Knew lots about the city and answered all our questions. Would gladly join one of his tours again. He had lots of visuals and maps to support what he was telling us about the city historically and he even gave out candy for right answers. He was fun and made it a little competition where person at the end with most right answers got a prize. They just happened to be a free music festival going on in the Square where our tour was to start. It was a little bonus that we got to hear some live music and Luc D explain to us the history behind the festival and its name. Two tips: Tips for guides must be in cash. I wish this info was made clearer on the website, maybe added to the FAQs. The rest of our travels in Europe have been essentially cashless and we’ve been using our phone to pay for everything. We didn’t have any Euros. Guide stopped by an ATM for us but the machine wouldn’t read any of our cards saved to our apple wallet, debit or credit. Another traveler on the tour allowed us to PayPal him and then he got cash for us out of the machine. Second, as mentioned in the tour description it does go through the red light district. We knew this when booking, but having never been to a red light district before didn’t fully understand what we would see. Luc D was great in giving us the option before we entered to walk around and meet at the other side as we had kids with us age 9 and 12. Having now been through the red light district I probably would have walked around with my youngest. Nothing too graphic about the women in the windows themselves, but their clothing was definitely risqué and prompted some questions. When booking I thought well since they let you bring kids on the tour and don’t mention any age requirements. It’s probably OK. And for some families, it probably is. Not a dealbreaker at all just something to be mindful of if you’re coming from a country or culture where this is not something you encounter. Thank you for a great tour. We’ve booked another one for this morning with the food tour that we are looking forward to.
