Slovenia's Unforgettable Trio: Bled, Cave & Castle

First, I was waiting outside of the hotel, the meeting spot, for about 30 minutes and started to get worried that no one else was on the same tour as me. I asked every driver I saw and every tourist also. Then I heard one of the tours was late. I made the expensive decision to log into my phone, I didn't think I would need the international plan, and check my emails and call if there was no news. That's when I noticed at the other end of the street a van with a driver and passengers. Of course that was my van. I am not sure if my tour guide was so young that he didn't get out to collect passengers, or if there was another pick-up point, but anyway the tour finally got under way after a stressful start, especially not being a morning person. The tour guide spoke non-stop with interesting information towards all of our destination points. The other guests were also solo and the sweetest. The only thing is that maybe there are more affordable tours as this particular tour did not include any entrance fees. The tour started at 8:20am and finished at 6:20pm.

This was the perfect way to see some of the highlights. We had a nice amount of time at each stop and I learned a lot from our wonderful guide/driver Jacob. You can easily pick up a sandwich for your lunch or some others ate snacks they brought. The fall leaves were beautiful!

Jacob was a really entertaining guide , who had a good sense of humor , though kind of wasted on the rest of the tour group … he was knowledgeable where he needed to be … the trip as such was wonderful … lake bled especially from the island in the middle looks beautiful… and the cave was a must do .. the stalactites were amazing

Our english-speaking driver/guide was very knowledgeable of history and geography of the area betweenLjubljana and Bled. We had plenty of time at each stop on our tour to enjoy the sights and tastes on offer. Highly recommended for anyone on a tight schedule.

Small group, comfortable ride. We had our own car but no way did we want to drive those mountain roads. We think there should have been more info ahead of time about the fact that we might want to bring our own sandwich/lunch since that was not part of the tour. There could also be more info about what the cave experience would be like. We were okay but there were some people inside that struggled with the 1 hour walk in the dark, cold cave. Lake Bled was awesome and the castle was very interesting as well

It was intense but great! Exceeded my expectations by far. The content, the guide and the landscapes are just perfect. Jakob (dont know how it is written) was really nice and helpful with his explanations. Loved it!

It was a fantastic day! The tour gave enough time in all locations and our tour guide Jan was just amazing. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about history that it felt like watching a movie while he was narrating it! Gave several great restaurant recommendations in the evening which was great at the first one on his list was full! Definitely coming back and bringing my family next time!

A great day of touring with Gordana, a wonderful guide. The Postojna Caves and Lake Bled were amazing! It was a lovely opportunity to see significant parts of Slovenia in 1 day… and enjoy Bled Cream Cake at the end of the day 😋

We went on this tour as a group of four friends. There were two other people on our tour. This meant we had plenty of space in the mini bus and the long drive was comfortable. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we found out lots about the history of Slovenia. The locations were stunning. Once you add in the cost of each location it is quite pricey, but we all agreed it was money well spent. I would definitely recommend this tour.
