Essaouira's Coastal Magic: Marrakech Day Trip Adventure

Kind tour guides, good ride. They spoke English, Spanish, and French. I had (?mis)understood it as a guided tour through Essaouira, but we were just free to wander ourselves. I'm glad we had stops on the way there and back for bathroom and snacks as well as learn about the argan oil production and sample things. The later however, was outrageously overpriced clearly for tourists versus other collectives/markets, and the snacks were fairly overpriced, so while the tour is affordable, the day cost is larger. Beautiful old coastal town to visit!!

Lovely day trip to Essaouria. Mohammed did a fabulous job, he was communicative, welcoming and a great driver. Spent the day roaming through the port and the Medina and still had time to relaxed at the beach. Memories made!

Really great one day trip, worth the visit. We had the best driver Abdorhman, who also gave us some tips on where to eat and what to explore around the town.

We got picked up from our hotel and met with the driver/guide Ibrahim and other tourist who then took us to Essaouira safely. He provided us with a lot of information and made sure everything went smoothly while under his care which was really nice and reassuring. Throughout the journey he gave us an insight on the life and stay in morocco as well as recommending different places for tourists. Overall the whole experience was really nice and enjoyable.

Abis was so nice and respectful, he picked us up on time and made sure we got to Ibrahim the other driver safely. He also kept making sure everything was okay until the end of the trip. I recommend this trip to other tourists. Thank you Abis

We had good communication from the Driver regarding pickup and the day ran perfectly to timings as advised. Given that it was a long journey, we had a good stop off comfort break where you could use the facilities and buy drinks, food or souvenirs. Then to the Argan Oil Co-operative - we saw a quick demonstration on how the oil is extracted and then to the shop where all the food/skincare/haircare products were explained (very quickly so did not quite catch it all) but the products were lovely. We then proceeded to Essaouira and had plenty of time to explore the harbour and medina on our own. The port was very busy but great to see all the fishermen selling their catches. The medina was great to explore too - and a lovely variety of colourful souvenirs as well as leather goods, pottery, argan oil products and footwear etc. Would have given a five star rating ... would have liked to hear a few facts/observations about Marrakesh/Essaouira along the way as a long journey (as have experienced this on other Viator trips around the world). However the transport was comfortable and the Driver looked after us very well. Great value for money and a lovely day. Thank you.

Abdul our driver has helped to make this trip a amazing and entertaining experience. Being very punctual and is also extremely polite. He gave us good recommendations about different places to eat and visit. We definetly recommend him.
