Tarragona Roman Empire: Exclusive Private Discovery Tour

We recently took the private 4-hour tour of Tarragona, and it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Bernat, was truly exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. From the start, it was immediately clear how knowledgeable and deeply passionate he is—he was clearly very into the tour, which made the whole experience infectious and exciting. For four hours, he did an amazing job telling the history and detailed stories behind the most impressive sites. Beyond his professionalism, Bernat is simply a cool and entertaining guide. This is a fantastic tour company. My adult son and I wanted a few days away from Barcelona and wanted to go to the previously Roman City of Tarragona. What a wonderful seaside experience. We wanted a private tour and went on "tours by locals" Lores in Tarragona was exceptional! We did a special tour with her one day and went to the Poblet Monastery, Mont Blanc and the Aauaduct. It was 8 hours and lunch in between. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness were second to none. The driver was fantastic as well. W The second day was a 4 hour tour to all the Roman architecture and Roman ampethiatre . When you do to Tours by locals, if you type in Tarragona or Barcelona whe works both cities. Again, so knowledge and a fantastic person!!

Bernat was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of Tarragona and provided a wealth of information. He was very accomodating and provided information to ensure our visit was successful.

Great guide. Allowed us to tour on our own pace. We went in July and it was very hot. Suggest booking an early in morning tour.

Bernat was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, warm and considerate. Tarragona is a beautiful & undervalued city with so much history (& few tourists). In one 4 hour tour Bernat showed us everything on our request list, much that we didn’t expect and suggested some great restaurants. If only we could be assured of similar experiences all over Europe.
