Cadiz Express: Panoramic City Highlights & Must-See Views

They should make sure that they have a phone that works if they prepaid for the trip because I had to pay twice because I couldn’t get my phone to work. Now I’m gonna have to try to get my money back somehow.

Normally we love a hop on, hop off bus. The bus audio and the staff were of the usual very high standard. Our issue is that the route is very short and comes back exactly that same way that it went so you see the same things twice. Cadiz is a very walkable town so we highly recommend saving your money and having a lovely walk, which we did after our bus tour. Definitely not worth the £ 48 it costs for 2 people who it’s an easy walk.

I have used Hop On Hop Off busses all over…London, Barcelona, Athens ++ all very well worth the price. Unfortunately for Cadiz, it just wasn’t worth it, The town is small, the bus route is an out and back; not even a loop around town. Not many attractions to make it worth while. The bus only stays on the main route, can’t travel through the city. You are better off using the city bus; no different in having to find a seat on the bus and significantly less in cost. The town itself, charming and better viewed simply walking around.

As we came out of the port of Cadiz the ticket seller was there. She encouraged us to do the trip for 25€ each. My partner's socket for his speakers didn't work, so he had to find another seat. We hopped off at the beach stop 12 by Playa de la Victoria. Had a lovely lunch on the beach when I realised we hadn't seen any buses pass. We walked to the stop and waited. No bus. No timetable. When one did appear, it failed to stop. We incurred unnecessary stress as we were time restricted to get back to the port. Would not recommend as not value for money, or as described.

The tour bus started right outside of the port which was unexpected. We rode the entire route and then made are choice of stops to explore. ON/OFFs were spaced at the right distance allowing for exploring between them.

We would say don't waste your money! We decided on day 1 to buy a ticket at one of their bus stops but after waiting at a number of stops and being waved to by drivers we gave up. Day 2 we bought a ticket at the tourist information. Armed with a ticket we waited at a bus stop in searing heat for 55 minutes. Also it is really not clear where the bus stops are. It was sometimes just a board propped up against a wall or a stop post not exactly next to the stop. Whereas we were supposed to get our money's worth using the bus over 2 full days we managed just 2 short trips. In actual fact there is little of interest in Cadiz except in the centre; places you can easily walk to.

Not great viewing of key sites from the bus. Busses so crowded that you were afraid to get off that you would stand in line for many minutes again to get back on. I wouldn’t say don’t do it but it is truly an average experience. Employees did a nice job handling crowds of people waiting in line.

Cadiz is a beautiful and compact little city. The bus didn’t really enhance what we had learned on an excellent Viator walking tour

A great tour of the city! I have always had a great experience with this tour company and seeing Cadiz in this manner is a must see. So much history and such a beautiful city.

Was great until we waited about 40-45 min for the hop on hop off at stop 13 in order to get back to the ship at 2:30p or so. What happened to every 20 min?
