Jakarta's Essence: Private 4-Hour Unforgettable Tour

The visit was excellent. Mey was knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful. I had only a short time to see some sites and needed to customize my day. She adjusted to meet my needs and I loved it. Agus the driver did a great job as well. Highly recommend!

Quick and thorough tour of the city. Had I have had more time I would, I would’ve taken the full day tour. So much to see. The guide was super friendly spoke English very clearly and was able to provide a lot of history about the city and his country. Highly recommend.

We spent our day with guide Hertin and driver Ledy. It was a great day, full of information and answers to our many questions by our patient guide Hertin. The traffic was bad, rain poured while we were in the car, but both are standard for Jakarta. Ledy manoeuvred the streets expertly. Hertin was super organized as we were able to bypass all lineups for tickets and for entrances. Viator has never disappointed us yet!!!

This was a great day with Rizky is Jakarta. Rizky met us at the cruise port and took us on a wonderful tour of Jakarta. The highlights were the puppet making studio and the independence mosque. We also appreciated that Rizky helped us get some street food. We wanted try street food in Jakarta and he did a great job! We really liked the duck egg and coconut item we ate.

So happy that WHENY was our guide. She has had extensive experience assisting foreign dignitaries etc., and her vast knowledge, friendliness, greatly added to our experience in this hectic city. We were able to customize and change the itinerary as needed during this New Years Day tour. Wheny was superb. We have traveled extensively in the past 40 years, are now convinced that the private tours are now invaluable - especially when you have a great guide.

This tour was exactly what I wanted and what made it interesting was the guide, Saif. He modified the trip on the fly for me, bypassing stops I decided I didn't want to see, and adding others to give me a flavor of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta. Saif was knowledgeable and fun as he shared information.

Very professional and a nice trip overall. Mey was a great guide and the traffic in Jakarta wasn’t as bad as I thought, maybe because it was January 1st and people weren’t working.

It was a very enlightening journey with my tour guide Gus to understand a bit more in depth Indonesia’s diverse and rich culture and volatile history which led to today’s modern day nation of theirs where unity lies in diversity.
