Jakarta's Colonial Echoes: Exclusive Old Batavia Tour

I cannot say enough great things about oir guide Haidar and our driver Cakman. This trip was just my wife and I. Haidar was very knowledgeable, knows english very well, and was able to customize our experience. We really wanted to shop for spices and Haidar was able to accommodate that and was extremely helpful when working with various merchants on our purchases. We got to see numerous historical sites and learn a great deal about the history and culture that makes up Jakarta! Well worth it!

A good way to see the highlights if Jakarta in a day. Museums, temples, mosques, etc. Our guide Hanny was very knowledgable and friendly. We had a good day.

We ordered one day private tour in Jakarta on 12th July 2025. Our guide was Rezky and he was amazing. He has a lot of knowledge about Jakarta and Indonesia. He did our trip an excelent experience. Everything was prrfectly managed.

Borneo was personable, knowledgeable, and resourceful. We did lots of activities, enjoyed lots of experiences, and feel like we really got to learn about Jakarta.

We have a great day in Jakarta with guide Budi and driver Jonti (I am not sure of the spelling). The day went smoothly, taking into account changes due to a wedding at the cathedral and a meeting at the masjid. The lunch was delicious. The national museum is amazing. Highly recommended.

The schedule pick up time was very flexible. We started later due to late arrival. The operator was very accommodating. The guide, Ine, was knowledgeable of the city destination, and attentive to our every needs. The driver, Bayu, was a great driver, bringing us around without much trouble with the traffic. He knew the road junction traffic monitors very well, and they opened up the way for us to pass through easily. Overall, a good package for a quick tour of the city.

The tour was on-time, the guide Iffah is sweet and respectful. We understand that she is new to the job. I wish we have a tour guide who knows more about Jakarta geography, Indonesia history, and a real storyteller.

Expectations were met. The local agent handled the rour ver well.He is very helpful. He managed my all requests. The guide is knowledgeable and clearly answered all my queries. I can recommend this tour. However tripadvisor has a lot of opportunities to improve this tour by adding few more historical itineraries.

Had a great time with wonderful tour guide, Fitri!! I learned a great deal of Indonesia and Jakarta history and culture. This is a tour not to missed! The private tour was wonderful in covering a lot in short period of time without stress. Bravo to Friti and the driver!! Only note is to check when the museums are closed if that is important to you. My tour was on a Monday and museums were closed... but know I will be back another time so didn't mind. There were plenty other things to cover so did not feel much was missed. Fyi.
