Ferrari Test-Drive in Maranello: Live the Italian Legend

The Ferrari experience itself was good, however the way the experience was promoted on the Tripadvisor website was misleading. Firstly, our original booking was cancelled without any reason and we had to contact tour operator to find out what other days were available. Then after paying for 2 people for "The Full Day Maranello Ferrari Experience with Test Drive" (and race simulator), we find out on arrival that only one person was entitled to the test drive & simulator, even though we had paid the same price for both people. We then had to pay an additional Euro 140 for the second person to do both these things and it was the tour operator who included the additional simulator race for free after paying the additional fee. Frankly, it was very misleading the way this was promoted and Tripadvisor were dismissive when we spoke to them at the time and have ignored our request to refund the additional Euro 140 that we had to pay.

Driving the Ferrari was the highlight of the day followed by going through the museum. Factory and track tour were good but limited in what you could see!

It was an awesome event. Got to drive a Portofino for 30 minutes and that’s something I’ll remember the rest of my life. Pickup in Bologna was on time and well communicated from our hotel. We did the Museum tour first, followed by the driving experience, then the factory tour, then lunch, then the simulator. We were kept well informed of the activities and it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

the lunch was not good. everything else was great! enjoyed driving the car and the tour and museum. would recommend changing the lunch venue and menu.

Logistics: Well organized, easy to find, free parking, very friendly staff, English speaking. Experience: factory tour on a bus was OK. Museum was excellent. Gift shop has better selection and lower prices than museum. Driving a 488 was worth every penny - better than any roller coaster! Actually researched prices for one of my own, until reality of mortgaging our home to afford it became clear. While a 10 minute drive doesn’t sound like much, it was fun on the street (not track), and when Fabio said ‘now push’ and my gas pedal went to the floor - WOW. Acceleration to 185 km/hr and subsequent braking were phenomenal. I smiled for hours.

My 18 year old son (full licence for at least one year as confirmed in his driving licence) and I drove a 458 and Portofino Ferrari respectively for 30 minutes. This gave us ample time to drive out into the rolling countryside under expert guidance. My 15 year old daughter sat in the back (only possible with the roof down) and loved the experience. The factory bus tour and meal at the local restaurant were much better than expected whilst the museum had every Ferrari (old and new) you could imagine. The team were very helpful throughout the day ensuring we were in the right place at the right time. Money well spent and a Ferrari Day to remember!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Everything was on time. The driver assigned to us was a great guy. The car that he used was a VIP one. Places visited were amazing and the people very friendly. The restaurant (Drake) was a great choice. Cheese and Balsamic factories were also a great choice. Ferrari test drive speaks for itself, a dream came true ( Next time I will book a longer ride). Luca was my copilot, great and funny guy. Angelo and Kristi did the follow up since I bought the tour until it started. Warm welcome and make you feel very good. Next time I will definitively contact them again. Thank you for the experience!

Drove 488 Spider, what a car, have driven AMG E63 on a race track and no comparison It was great that the pilot Fabio allowed you drive in a safe and fast manner. Awesome experience and would highly recommend if you want a buzz in your life, as this was the highlight of my 6 week holiday in Europe. Next time I will hire for at least one hour. It was great fun and an exciting ride. The museum was very interesting and well done, and lunch was very good. My only critique would be that we drove on a busy two lane road, so having on-coming traffic coming straight at you after you've hit the gas is a little disconcerting. A track, or a deserted (or at least less-travelled) road would be much better for the test-drive. Thanks.

The car outside look great inside a bit old! 2009 The driving was great The restaurant was good The F1 simulator was good but no one have told us it was at the shop and not à the museum.
