This was along but great day out. We we're staying in Darwin after our tour of the Red Centre, so decided on a day trip to Kakadu. Our tour guide, Libby arrived at our hotel to pick us up in a full sized bus even though there were only 15 of us. It was a 13.5 hr day but the bus was comfortable and Libby made sure that we had regular toilet/ food stops all day. We really enjoyed our day and especially the river boat cruise. Libby was bright and cheery all day and only too happy to help with anything. Would definitely recommend this day trip even though it's a big day.

Fantastic all day tour with our very knowledgeable and likeable driver Anthony. Fascinating insight into aboriginal culture and the NT landscapes and wildlife. KAKADU Yellow Water cruise was the highlight for us. What a gorgeous place. We saw a large array of beautiful birds and some impressive saltwater crocodiles and buffalo. Great lunch provided on route too. It was a long 14 hour day but totally worth it in a nice air conditioned coach. Highly recommended.

The trip was excellent from start to finish. Our bus driver/guide Jess was very professional, knowledgeable and a great driver. The Yellow Waters tour with Adam was fantastic. Another thoroughly professional and knowledgeable guide. It is a very long day, 6 am until 8 pm, but if you don’t have a lot of days in Darwin and want to see Kakadu then this is the way to do it.

I joined this tour on April 25, 2025, and it was actually my second time experiencing it—I first did the tour 10 years ago! This time, our guide for the day was Prem. Prem was very knowledgeable and added a nice touch of humor throughout the day, which made the tour even more enjoyable. For me, the highlight was definitely the billabong cruise. It was fascinating to see the contrast in water levels, especially after witnessing the road flooding on the way to the boat. We spotted several crocodiles, including one particularly large one gracefully cruising through the river. The cruise also offered fantastic birdwatching opportunities, with plenty of beautiful birds along the way. Lunch was decent, though I felt it could have offered a bit more variety for the price—perhaps a wider buffet selection would have made it feel more worthwhile. After lunch, we headed to Nourlangie Rock to view the ancient rock art. Although I had visited this site just a few days earlier on April 19, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Hearing the stories again from a different perspective and noticing artwork I had missed previously made it a fresh and engaging experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour. With a scenic cruise, lunch, and a visit to Nourlangie Rock all included, I believe it offers great value for money.
