Tuk tuk lost plate food tour was great fun and very interesting. Great variety of different foods on offer. Guide Diehl was very informative and fun. Bit hairy travelling down narrow streets in the tuk tuk but also great fun. Would recommend

We had a great time with Buren!! He was so fun and clearly passionate about his home city’s food culture and history. He kept in contact and even gave us some excellent recommendations for where to eat during the rest of our trip! We learned so much and would love to take another tour with him one day!!

We had an amazing experience facilitated by Diehl. She was knowledgeable, funny, and made sure we sampled all the best dishes of Xi'an. If you're looking to delve into Xi'an, then look no further than this tour.

We did this tour with a wonderful guide named Deahl. We ended up being the only 2 people on this tour so spent the whole time speaking with her. She was so knowledgeable and had great stories to share about the culture and history, as well as the families involved in each place we visited and food we tried. She was so friendly and welcoming and everything she shared with is was so interesting. We had so much fun and agree that she made the tour our most memorable activity here so far, it really stood out. I would highly recommend this tour, and particularly this guide. She left a great impression and made the whole thing very comfortable and fun while teaching us so much about the city and it's history. She was also happy to pass on recommendations for the rest of our stay when we got in touch the next day. I cannot recommend her enough.

Overall was a great experience and great introduction to Xi'an and great way to try a variety of food. Some of the food was great and some was fairly average where we found better ourselves later - but it's still worth the experience. The guide Buren was super enthusiastic and friendly and helpful and was available to contact anytime. However I do feel there is too much pressure from the company to push for good reviews to be made and pressure to review at the time of tour which results in opinions that aren't necessarily getting proper feedback as the guides' bonuses are dependent on good reviews. I think people will naturally put good reviews if they enjoyed it - there needs to be less focus of pressure on this aspect. The brewery option should also include wine or another alocholic option for those who don't like beer. We liked the tour overall which is why we did more in Xi'an and then Chengdu.

Super fun! All the food was amazing. And the places were places we’d never find on our own or through DianPing. Highly recommend for anyone going to Xi An

Our food tour with our awesome guide Betty was the absolute highlight of our stay in Xi'An! We learned so much, had a lot of fun, and got to sample local food at the most amazing places. Honestly, I'd do it a second time if I happen to be in the city again :)
