Valparaiso & Viña: Breathtaking Coastal Escape from Santiago

This was an awesome experience. Our tour guide, Christopher was amazing! He was a very educated individual and knowledgeable as a native Chilean. The stop at the fish market in Viña del Mar isn’t a typical stop for most tourist tours but it was the highlight for me. Fresh, cheap ceviche was SO good and it was great to see true Chilean culture (if you don’t mind the fish smell ;) We saw see lions and pelicans VERY up close and personal, making for some fantastic pictures. The tour of Valparaiso was great and the lunch stop on the rooftop deck at Olichen for very traditional Chilean food was awesome! The wine tour was the least favourite aspect of the trip as it was not very intimate, with other tours there at the same time, unlike the rest of the day. With that all said, I’d highly recommend this tour and requesting Chris as your tour guide.

A day trip from Santiago to a coastal area. Nico and Franscesca were very informative, entertaining and made sure we all had a great day. A little shopping in interesting stores, lunch at a quality restaurant, a walking tour to explore the areas and wine tasting. They even took us to see a sea lion at the fish market who was consuming all the fish heads as the filleting was done. I really enjoyed my day!

Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso were very disappointing… the Vineyard was great. The guide, Edu excellent

I really enjoyed this day trip with Nacho/Roberto. Loved the street art and bohemian vibe of Valparaíso and its beauty as a coastal town. Definitely a worthwhile addition to your Santiago itinerary!

What a great way to see more of Chile on a short trip! Our guide Pablo was awesome, clearly knew the area and happy to share his beautiful country with all of us in his group. Absolutely recommend taking this day-trip, even if you don't usually join a group tour. It was worth it!

lots of quick stops but it allows you to actually get out and see something. Lots of walking in Valparaiso with lots of stairs up and down so made for a tiring day

This was a great experience! After being picked up and driving for a bit, we drove around Vina Del Mar and stopped a couple places. Then, we walked around Valparaiso (and had a lunch break) and got to really experience the city. After that, we drove back towards Santiago and stopped at a gorgeous vineyard in Casablanca Valley (and saw some alpacas!). It was an amazing experience! Stephi was our guide, and it was great to hear her talk all about the areas we went to. The only part of the experience that I wasn't a fan of was when an overly friendly guy in Valparaiso followed our tour around for basically the entire time we were there- it was fine to chat with him for a bit, but after a while it was interrupting my tour experience, and I didn't feel comfortable telling him to go away or be quiet when he seemed to be friendly with our guide. Other than that, this was a fantastic tour, and I would definitely recommend to everyone!

It was a very well organized day trip well timed. Ramses was very informative and cared for us especially for my little daughter. He made sure we had all the information needed and also forwarded more tips to help us with our trip to Santiago.

Seba was an awesome tour guide and booked this last minute yesterday and they were able to accommodate. I was taken to so many places in 1 day and it makes it worth it. The vineyards (even though I don't drink) were beautiful with poppy seeds (reminded me of California) and llamas to feed. Thx again
