We enjoyed a wonderfully wet visit to Yokohama. Our terrific guide was so flexible and accommodating given the weather, our time constraint and the fact it was a holiday. Her follow up to discussions and our difficulties navigating the area was so helpful. We would definitely hire her again.

Hiroko was knowledgeable, well prepared and charming! She made our time in Yokohama more fun and all the more memorable! The food we sampled was delicious and Hiroko was very flexible about what we wanted to try. Great Tour!

I believe there is a disconnect between Viator's description of this tour and what the tour provider [City Unscripted] actually delivers. This tour has very little structure so it is up to the tourist to substantially provide the itinerary. Our guide passed by none of the sites noted in Viator's tour description. But he was friendly, likeable, very accommodating, and spoke English well. So the issue/miscommunication appears to be with Viator and the vendor, City Unscripted.

We had a wonderful time doing a sushi-based tour with Madoka. We went to restaurants we'd never adventure to on our own. Her explanations and guidance will help us for the rest of our trip to Japan. She is a natural teacher who is excellent at explaining things to the clueless. We highly recommend it, and we hope to meet Madoka again.

Delicious food; friendly guide. We love Japanese food and we had lots of fun eating it on this tour with a guide who really knew her stuff.

This is a great way to see how the locals eat. Our guide took us off the beeten path offering us great historic facts about the city while sharing resturants and dishes we would have never found. The meals were great and she was able to cater the experiance to what we were looking for.

This was an excellent tour. Martina is an excellent guide and speaks excellent English. She has a tremendous knowledge of Japan and Japanese culture. Thus, besides learning a lot about the sights in Yokohama as we walked around and talked we learned a lot about Japan. The food stops were terrific and provided excellent food and learning about the foods was a real treat. Highly recommend this tour.

This is a great way not only to experience the city and its food but learn about Japanese culture. Marta is a superb guide and speaks great English. The food was excellent also.

Our guide Kenji was amazing. He asked us what we wanted to eat and we chose a food that was not on his radar. He did not miss a beat and found a place where we got a very authentic experience and great food. We followed up with a visit to a more conventional casual restaurant where we tried a variety of Japanese specialties. The quail eggs were so cute and so tasty. Kenji ordered and smoothed the way for us everywhere we went and made certain we went home with full tummies.

My friend and I were so lucky to have booked this tour and had Hiroko as our guide. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We did this tour the day that we landed in Japan and she set the tone for our whole trip. She absolutely went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in our new surroundings. She made sure that we knew every day Japanese terms and spent some time teaching me the modern Japanese writing system. I definitely would book again with Hiroko and recommend her to my friends that visit the Tokyo area.
