Golden Circle: Iceland's Must-See Wonders from Reykjavik

Alain and Lukas were great. Alain was very friendly and knowledgeable! The golden circle is well worth the trip outside the city even if you are only in Iceland a short while.

It was outstanding other than rain most of day. Iceland is beautiful. Tour guide was excellent and very informative. She made it fun and loved how prompt she was on time.

I would definitely recomnend going on a Golden circle tour, get a chance to see þingvellir, Gullfoss and The geysirs. However, I would have preferred to have an icelandic guide. Our guide seemed to be American and I learnt very little from him. I would rather recommend checking if there are other companies with better guides.

We had a wonderful and informative time. Our guide was great and clearly knew her history and provided fascinating general information about Iceland. It was a shame we had rain most of the day but it didn’t dampen our guide’s enthusiasm or our participation!

Wow! Darren (Tour Guide) and Ibra (our driver) are an amazing team. An interesting and humorous commentary throughout and so, so helpful.. including getting us back to where we were staying. The tour took in the North American/European tectonic plate rift walk (very impressive), a real life geyser (saw it jump to life… about 100 feet high) and the amazing waterfall (nature’s pure power). A little bonus was to see the Northern Lights when we got back. Highly recommended.

We were collected promptly from our hotel and drop off was organised well. Darren, our tour guide was very interesting and I felt I learned a lot about Iceland and the way of life etc . We had a good amount of time at all 3 spots and despite the poor weather the landscape was still fascinating!

Tour was well organized. Darren taught us a lot about Iceland. Ibra was a very safe and skilled driver who gave us a very comfortable ride. Tour was well worth the price!

This is absolutely the best way for a budget minded traveler to view the sights if you are short on time while visiting Iceland. The tour bus is comfortable, the guides are informative and the views are spectacular. Highly recommended.

Full day trip to view the Golden Circle. Our guide Svienn ( hope I spelled this right!) was really entertaining on what was a long day. We saw the most magnificent natural sights imaginable from the fault lines of the North America/ Eurasia tectonic plate, to the geysers, magnificent waterfalls at Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park. Each individually showed both the power and beauty of nature. Our time was not rushed throughout the day. Great treat!
