This was a so-so experience for me. I don't think it is worth the money for the tour. You spend about half an hour driving to the park, walk to the gorge for about an hour, then drive back. The walk is not difficult, but it is not flat ground. You are climbing over rocks and loose stones. We took the afternoon tour and it was already quite hot. I can only imagine how hot it must be during the summer. We felt the best part of the tour was the information the guide gave us during the drive there and back. Overall - not worth the money or the time. I feel the tour could be improved by adding some other elements (such an an extra stop, or a drive to see some other part of the park). As it stands, it is overpriced.

Guide Graham was very knowledgeable about culture and geology. I didn’t know how different Kata Tjuṯan and Uluru are geologically. The hike thru Walpa Gorge was beautiful and a bit challenging over uneven and rocky ground. Well worth the effort! Waterhole was gorgeous. Like another planet. Highly recommend.

The tour was as expected, with stunning views of Walpa Gorge and great commentary from the guide. I would rate 5/5 for the guide's efforts, support, and the fun we had. When we booked with SEIT we expected to get a local guide (as it's generally advertised/talked about as a selling point on the internet). We wished to hear a bit about their personal connection to the land, their wins and the challenges, and what Kata Tjuta/Walpa Gorge really means to them. We feel a local guide is perhaps best placed to add that value for the visitors. It was the biggest reason we booked with SEIT in the first place. Sorry it didn't meet this specific expectation we had.

Kata Tjuṯa was really cool to get to experience, and this was the perfect walk! It wasn’t too difficult or too long. Lucy was an excellent guide and made sure to get us back in time for our sunset dinner later in the day.

This tour gives a good taste of being outdoors in the NT and the scale of Kata Juta. Great guide. Recommend for a short excursion.
