Unforgettable White Desert & Bahariya Oasis Escape

Hamad Sayed was excellent guide! We had such a great time visiting the white desert and camping. Definitely recommend not skipping this adventure.

Had a great time at the Bahariya Oasis with Marwan! His English was great, he had an incredible sense of humor, kept me well informed, offered to take several (incredible) photos in all the right spots, and seems wise beyond his years. The driver, Ahmed, was a very talented & experienced driver. He expertly handled the vehicle through the Oasis. He made it adventurous without feeling unsafe. He was jovial and had a great attitude. The experience itself will be with me for a lifetime! Thank you so much!!

My partner and I went on an overnight excursion to the White Desert, accompanied by our guide Omar Saleh. The White Desert is absolutely stunning, and before reaching it, there are a few stops in the Black Desert, which also offers a hauntingly beautiful landscape. Camping overnight in the White Desert is a truly peaceful and lovely experience—with the sky full of stars and complete silence all around you. Dinner and breakfast, prepared on-site by the desert drivers, were delicious, and the fact that it was homemade added a special touch to the whole experience. The journey from Cairo to the White Desert is quite long. First, you drive for over four hours, and then switch to a jeep to reach the desert and make there some stops. Just before changging the vehicle, there's a break for lunch and refresh. Make sure to ask for a stop during the long drive—even if it's just to stretch your legs, use the toilet, or grab a snack. On the way back, if we hadn’t asked, they wouldn’t have offered to stop. Other than that, we did miss having a bit more explanation about what we were seeing in the desert —like map references, some basic geological facts, or interesting stories about the deserts. That said, it doesn’t take away from how breathtaking the landscapes and nature are. We felt safe and relaxed at all times. Oh, and a heads-up: be careful with some of the hot springs—they left a few stains on our swimsuits, possibly metallic, so you might want to bring an old one just in case.

Spending a night in the desert was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Mohammed (Italian), was very kind to us and made us feel like family. He's a very nice person, very friendly, and he also took some great photos of us. The food at the camp was incredible, and the entire staff was very welcoming. We're grateful for everything.

We chose this tour because we wanted an adventure and what came out of it was memories that we will cherish forever. Everyone was welcoming, professional and friendly. We had the best guide we could ever ask for, Osama. He was kind and had always so many facts to share! We could feel that he is passionate about his work and transmitting his love for egyptology. We had the chance to see so many landscapes that were out of this world. Our bedouin driver Dohy was so friendly and cooked us a wonderful meal when we arrived in our camp in the white desert. Our adventure was perfect and everything was well organized. We could bath in a natural oasis in the desert (hot spring), see the blackest stones in the black desert and the natural crystals in the crystal mountains. We even did sand sandboarding which felt like out of a dream. I couldn’t recommend a better tour than this one! If you are thriving for adventure you are on the right place.

Ezzat was extremely helpful in organising our tours. Once I had booked this overnight camping trip Ezzat also helped to organise our 3 night Nile tour. He was always available to help online and able to change or adapt anything we needed. It was great to have that support prior to our holiday. Our Nile cruise guide Mansour and Desert camp guide Mo were great, very informative and fun. Great tours and a great tour company!

I went on an overnight camping trip to the el Fayoum oasis and valley of the whales, Magic Lake and Egypt’s only waterfalls. My guide Mohamed Abdelrhaman was brilliant, sharing all his knowledge of Egyptian history and also discussing modern day culture. The most fun part for me was crazy 4x4 driving in the dunes. The camping was actually a lovely pod with bathroom, and beautiful views of the desert and the lake in the distance. I felt safe as a woman travelling on my own, and would highly recommend this trip, and Moe as a guide.

5 out of 5 My guide, Kamalito, took me on one of the most amazing adventures of my life. The black and white desert are like something from another world. And the stars at night are incredible. Kamalito made sure I saw the best spots and enjoyed the experience fully. Highly recommend this tour and ask for him!

It was a wonderful experience. Not only were the views spectacular during the day, but at night we had the best starry night sky. If you come to Egypt, you must go.

We want to the white and black desert with Mostafa Mabrouk and It was AWESOME. He is really kind, his spanish is very good and he tried to enjoy us all the day. The tour is long and it takes so many hours in the car, but he did his best to enjoy us. We definitely recommend this experience and for sure, if you could do it with him it worths a lot!!!
