Ghent Chocolate Bliss: A Delicious Small-Group Tasting Tour

Very nice tour with some good tastings, and the guide was very knowledgeable I feel I would’ve liked to have seen some people making chocolate. I would’ve made the tour better for me.

Great time, great places visited. Well worth the cost. Not a lot of time to shop at the individual shops but we ended up going back later.

Mandy was an excellent tour guide. She told us lots of great stories and took us to a bunch of great chocolate shops. Mandy was knowledgeable, attentive, and lots of fun. I highly recommend taking this tour with her.

Mindy was a wonderful, full of energy and history filled guide!! The tasings were yummy, meeting shop owners very special and hearing about Gent was superb!

Debbie was absolutely phenomenal. She brought the charm and history of Ghent to life through her storytelling and warm welcoming nature. The locations were fantastic and the combination of chocolate history and Ghent history really made for a memorable experience. I came here for a work trip and wanted to fill my time and it was an absolute wonderful use of my time. Cheers to Debbie and the Charlie team for putting together a stellar tour.

The BEST chocolate tour I have ever experienced! Lead by a guide who was born, raised and lives in Ghent, you will taste award winning chocolate all locally produced. You'll taste subtle flavors, bold flavors, flavor combinations you never imagined, and even a chocolate inspired by the guide. You'll see bean to bar production, ateliers, and maybe the chocolates being produced during the visit. Also you'll be given tips and recommendations for Ghent along the way that only a local person would know. High quality chocolate at reasonable prices, I returned to four of the spots to buy many of the products tasted. If you only have time for one tour in Ghent, this is the best!

Despite a drizzly day, Iris did a nice job sharing some of the history of Ghent along with introducing us to Ghent’s cholatiers & offering tasty chocolate treats.

An interesting and informative two hours. The guide was knowledgeable about all things chocolate and Ghent. And the assortment of chocolates we tasted were varied and delicious

We had the pleasure of having Nick as our guide and he was incredible. Our group was small with 4 total, 2 solo travelers and a duo of friends. It made for the most wonderful time with so many chocolates to try. Nick also gave us some recommendations for lunch and we went as a group for the loveliest meal to end our day. It was so nice to get stories about Ghent mixed into all of the wonderful tastings and I loved the focus on local single shop producers.

There were 4 of us plus guide Nick. I’m not even a chocolate lover. Nine drops and tastings . Each had its own value. Nick was ever so delightful and engaging. A wonderful way to see the city while getting the “ flavor” of what they are famous for.
