Rio's Ultimate Full-Day: Christ, Sugarloaf & Selarón

We booked this trip prior to leaving the UK as we had limited time in Brazil and this tour included all the main attractions we wanted to visit. Very good communication prior to the tour on pick up times etc. our guide Camilla was very knowledgeable, not only relating to the attractions we were visiting but also in her ability to be able to answer any questions that were asked of her. She had a great sense of humour and always made sure all guests felt fully included. We were very lucky to have had her as our guide and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a highly knowledgeable guide when visiting Rio. Thank you Camilla for a great day!

What a jam packed day we had seeing the sights in Rio. After picking up a van full of people, we went to Sugarloaf Mountain and rode the cable cars to the top. Eduardo, our guide, was great guiding us up the mountain and giving us history as we went. After this, we had a great Brazilian buffet lunch. We then went to a Catholic church. After the church, we went up to see the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking Rio. It's kind of crazy as there was only 1 elevator working on that day, but we eventually made it and there was people everywhere. It's jam packed of people on the top platform in front of the statue. Everyone taking selfies and pictures. Good luck trying to get a photo without someone in it. The statue was a highlight for us. It's really worth seeing. After this, we stopped at the Flamingo's stadium briefly to see where the most popular Soccer team plays, then it was off to the Rio stairs in all their beautiful colors and tiles of locations all over the world. They even had a couple of Utah tiles that Eduardo knew where they were. Overall, it was a great experience and it was a FULL day. We started at 7:30 in the morning being picked up from our hotel and we got back to our hotel around 7:00pm at night.

Gustavo did a great job. Everything was well rehearsed and organized. What keeps this from getting 5 stars was translations. Gustavo never spoke in whole sentences. He’d say three words in X language, three words in English, three words in Y language; and then continue with the next 3-4 words in X language, etc. I believe, as did most English speakers, that if he spoke whole entire sentences, in one language at a time, then the next language, it would be far superior to current procedures. Sometimes, with long sentences, one lost track of what he was trying to say. To many stops, breaks, and restarts.

Spectacular day trip got to see so much in one day. Great value for money. Priority at all queues which saved so much time. Guide casio was great very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour of the highlights of Rio! Camila was super knowledgeable and helpful. It was a fairly large group (14) and I thought she handled one of the more high-maintenance guests with great respect and diplomacy. Would definitely recommend!
