Epic Sahara Stargazing: 3-Day Marrakech Desert Adventure

Nice trip from Marakech to Marzouga with various stops (including Aït Benhaddou). Our driver Morad was very kind and profesional. I recommend this trip.

Marrakech City Travel. I will never book with them again. The whole trip felt like a money grab all along. Every stop of the way, they tried to have us buy something. Also a lot of misleading information: they said we would be travelling in a vehicle equipped with AC, it was not working half the time. At the time of booking, it said the mid level package included sandboarding but once in the desert, they were charging 15€ extra per person for a broken sandboard. The camel rides were in the afternoon and morning but not at sunset nor sunrise. They only mentionned once in Ait Benhaddou that we would need a scarf for the desert and took us to a store for us to buy a simple piece of cloth for 130 MAD (each). They said we could pay by card for the lunches that were not included but that also turned out to be false information. The included meals did not include beverages, aside from tea and orange juice for breakfast. Water was always extra. The « professional » driver was also not really professional… He showed up late, did not explain much and would just stop the van for us to take pictures for 5 minutes. And the driving itself… tailgating, passing while going uphill or in a blind turn, honking… Although not too far fetched from typical moroccan driving, it did not feel very professional. That being said, the itinerary, activities and sites themselves were really fun and impressive. I would recommend renting a car and doing it by yourslef of try a different agency.

Mourad our guide & bus driver was excellent. We give him 10/10. His driving skills was outstanding & his local area Knowledge of all operating to Morocco was exceptional. A great person.
