Really fun biking experience! We explored spots both well-known and hidden from most tourists. We especially enjoyed the walk to Meiji Shrine, a delicious lunch at The Frontal, and riding through busy city streets that we never would have attempted without Gako’s guidance. The route was very well planned, and Gako was thoughtful on reminding us about safety. He also answered many of our questions about Japanese culture. Highly recommend.

This Tokyo city bike tour was absolutely outstanding and became one of the true highlights of the trip. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every stop—from quiet backstreets to major landmarks—feel special and memorable. The pace was comfortable, the bikes were well maintained, and the small group size meant plenty of time for questions, photos, and local insights. It felt like discovering a side of Tokyo that most visitors never see, and it left a huge smile on my face the entire day.

This was absolutely the best way to see and experience Tokyo!! Gaku was an amazing guide. He is very friendly, funny and gave us a great tour through the city. It was amazing going through back streets and little neighborhoods, he took us to a couple shrines that aren't on maps. We were a group of 3 and the tour felt very personable and overall the best experience in Tokyo. Riding was mostly all flat. A few hills here and there but nothing major.

Gaku’s carefully curated route is phenomenal - you hit so many major landmarks and discover some hidden gems that only a local could show you. The entire day is sprinkled with historical facts and funny anecdotes, courtesy of Gaku’s amazing lived experiences. Highly recommend!

Gaku was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about the city. He guided us well and we saw so much of Central Tokyo that would've taken days otherwise, we felt very safe the whole time. He who told us about his adventures around the world including Mount Everest which was fascinating, as well as his uncle who skiid down Everest! Major props to him and his amazing adventurous family! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see many of Tokyo's major landmarks in a fast and alternative way from the usual guided tours!

This is a beautiful and efficient way to see Tokyo. You cover 10 different sights including some that aren't marked at all on google maps and cycle about 27 kilometres over 5-6 hours, so very chilled out pace. Guide: Gaku will be your guide. He speaks very good English and knows a lot about the city, being local. I've done some trip advisor bike tours in other Asian cities where the guide wasn't local and couldn't speak the language so really happy that that wasn't the case this time. He's very personable and engaging, has a slightly crazy laugh that is infectious and is really just a chilled out dude. Safety: Gaku provides helmets and limits the group number to 4-5 so he can take care of everyone. He checks every turn for traffic and is constantly looking back to check on the group. He also takes pictures and sends them to you after so you don't have to. Safety briefing is given at the start. Bikes are high end and well maintained. He is an advanced mountain biker himself. What to bring: raincoat. It did start to rain unexpectedly during our ride even though the weather forecast said otherwise. He'll take you to a shop to buy lunch and you'll cycle to a really nice spot to sit and eat. There is a bathroom at every stop.

Gaku was an excellent guide for our bike tour. We have been to Tokyo three other times and this was a new exciting experience for us. We bike at home but I never imagined we could bike in a city as busy as Tokyo. We saw the city from a new perspective and enjoyed seeing the small shrines as well as the big skyscrapers. I would highly recommend Gaku and the bike tour as it gives you a good overview of the sights of Tokyo, both large and small.

We had a fantastic day cycling around central Tokyo with Gaku! His tour is really well organised and gives visitors the chance to see both popular attractions and hidden gems. Gaku is so kind and loves to chat with everyone in the group. He also took pictures of us while riding and emailed them to us the same day. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys cycling!
