Unforgettable Tokyo: Private 6-Hr Custom Journey with Guide

Amazing tour!! Shigeru was an excellent guide and we enjoyed the entire day. He created a perfect itinerary and included all of our passions including allowing us to stop for amazing Ramen.

We did almost 18,000 steps. Shaguri was an excellent guide who adapted the day as we enjoyed the day. I highly recommend this tour. Communication was excellent and an itinerary was based on our interests.

My guide, Kazuyasu Hakata, modified some of the tour, at my request, to visit older (traditional) Temples/Shrines in the Tokyo area. The 6-hour tour included: Tsukiji Outer Market, Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple, Senso-ji (Asakusa Kannon) Temple, Zuirin-ji Temple, Temples in the Taito - Yanaka Area, Daien Ji Temple (lunch break at the neighborhood festival), Nezu Shrine, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and the Kyu Asakura House. Kazuyasu Hakata was very informative about each site and answered all my questions.

We were given a 6 hr tour of Tokyo by Ted (the Best Tour Guide!). He contacted us prior to the tour in order to determine what we wanted to see. There were so many places we wanted to see that we extended our tour from 4 to 6 hours. He ensured it was specialized to us, which we greatly appreciated. We saw the Tsukiji outer fish market, Ginza, the Kabuki Theater, Asakusa old town, Senso-ji temple, the Marunouchi historic district, Imperial Palace outer park, and Shinjuku. We walked (a lot - which is expected on a walking tour) but we also got to experience riding on the Metro and the JR which was a totally new experience for us as trains are not used for local transportation where we live in the US. He shared a lot of information on the history and culture of his country. He went out of his way to help me find a specific souvenir that I now associate with Japan and him specifically. This was a great tour because with the limited time we had in Tokyo, we were able to see places that we would not have known about or been able to find without someone familiar with the area. This was a great tour and highly recommended. Ted was outstanding and we are so happy he was our guide for the day!

We had a wonderful tour with Kenji Kasama. We visited numerous historical and interesting sites across the city and had a wonderful ramen lunch. Kenji communicated directly with me to develop our itinerary and also provided recommendations on other places to visit during our stay in Japan. Kenji was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot during our tour of Tokyo. I highly recommend him!!!

We had a FABULOUS day with Yuki! She taught us history of the sites, helped us to navigate the metro system, planned a picnic lunch - all with a SMILE! She even made calls to help us schedule spa service the following day. Truly a wonderful introduction to Tokyo. Thank you Yuki!!!

Koji was knowledgeable, considerate, friendly guide who knows Tokyo well. His command of English was perfect. He showed us all the places we wanted to visit without fuss or the feeling of being rushed. He went the extra mile helping us plan the train travel for the next day.
