The places we visited were beautiful and well worth seeing. However, we booked an English-speaking tour and were surprised to find that most of the group spoke Spanish. The guide was fluent in Spanish and did her best to translate, but many parts of the tour were more detailed in Spanish than in English. As English speakers, we felt at a disadvantage and missed out on some of the commentary. It would be helpful if the tour company clarified language expectations more clearly during booking.

It was an enjoyable day. The guide Svetlozar was quite patient and pleasant. Our driver made sure our ride was smooth.

The overall tour was really good with lots of exploring which was done in plodiv and koprishtitsa along with understanding the history of both places ! Both the places were very colorful and wonderfully nice as well as the tour guide being very knowledgeable was very helpful ! The tour operates only two days a week which is a bit unfortunate so plan accordingly if you want to do this tour with both places with a day trip ! The really frustrating and sad part was at the start of that the tour it was raining heavily and unfortunately we were unable to find a taxi to the pickup spot and we informed the guide. We tried to offer solutions to meet somewhere or if they can pickup us up closer which was a 5 month detour at max which wouldn’t have affected the overall group . The guides response was pls be on time and we cannot stay longe than 8 am for pick up which was a bit extremely unthoughtgul on the agency’s behalf as we were delayed by forces beyond our control! Consideration towards customer in such extenuating circumstances should be much more thoughtful rather than just be brushed off with a generic thoughtless approach which I felt was very unfortunate to deal with ! Thank god we made it on time as we got a taxi last minute but if we didn’t it would have really been extremely disappointing so if they change their approach in this aspect it would benefit their levels of customer service greatly for future travelers to not face what we had to face last minute.

We had Marinna as our tour guide. She was super nice, knowledgeable. very approachable, and easy to understand. She managed the group of 40 people superbly. It was a packed day, but she always had a smile. Very much appreciated.

Be prepared to walk on authentic uneven stone paved streets. History is amazing! Scenery on the bus ride is beautiful!

Really like the trip, the guide had more patience than I would have ever in my life. Was a bit long but is worth it specially if you don’t have time to go to each stop individually.

Martin was very enthusiastic and the whole day was fascinating. There never seems to be enough time to see everything, but it's a great combination if you don't have much time in Bulgaria.

The tour guide Martin was very engaging and fun, and took us on a detailed guided tour through both Plovdiv and Koprivshtitsa, providing lots of useful information. Driver was on time and safe. Plovdiv is stunning, with a great vibe and Roman ruins, and definitely worth a visit, and Koprivshtitsa is a small city in the mountains with a lot of history, that feels like going back in time a hundred years. Highly recommend this tour.

Plovdiv is the more interesting place of the 2 stops. It's a pretty, quaint town with some history. Koprivahika is important historically but not much to see. It was a far drive to not see or learn much.
