Our guide knew her history and engaged even with the younger kids on the tour. Our guide was an Asissi native who thoroughly enjoyed giving us a great introduction to St Francis

Our tour guide Alessandra was incredible! She was very professional and truly a scholar and authority on St. Francis of Assisi and the Basilica. It was a wonderful experience, and highly recommended.

I visited this but not with a tour guide. St Francis of Assisi was born and died here. It is a Roman Catholic Church. The basilica began in 1298. It has an Upper and Lower church and is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site

Prachtige basiliek met heel mooie fresco's. Gelegen in het mooie Umbrië. Een regio om zeker te verkennen.
