Pedro and Bellamy made the experience absolutely amazing, educational and fun! The route was so peaceful and beautiful. I was very nervous at first but Pedro was able to ease my tension and explain what to do very clearly. Both guides were VERY educated and knowledgeable about the bay, local animals and fun PR facts.

Bring a change of clothes and shoes you can get wet. We didn't realize we had to wade in waist deep water to get in the kayak. Also, use the bug spray they provide. You WILL get bit! Our tour guide was funny and informative.

Good guide to people ratio. Appreciated Pedro's explanations and energy. They used tarps to lower light levels so we could see the bioluminescence. Great tour! Bring bug spray!

The experience was cool as far as kayaking through what looked like the amazon at night and the guides were fabulous and very informative however since they can't predict the level of the bioluminescent it happened to not be that luminous that night so we didn't see much. But still a cool experience.

The trip overall was disappointing. My son in particular enjoyed the kayaking in the Mangroves, however, the bioluminescence was disappointing. First of all there is FAR too many people making the trek that caused massive kayaking challenges ranging from people out of control to simply too much traffic in the relative small area. Also there is far too much ambient light from the surrounding area to there to really be any visible meaningful bioluminescence. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although I was steered incorrectly, that as an odd person, I was asked if I could handle a single kayak, which I replied yes. However, I was given a two person kayak to handle as a single which with the crowds and the tide proved too much for me to handle and needed assistance in returning to base.

We didn’t see diddly squat. I think all the Dinoflagellates are dead. No one in our group saw anything at all that was bioluminescent. So it was just kayak session at dusk. You definitely need bug spray.

The staff were friendly and fun but there was absolutely no bioluminescent activity visible on the water so this turned out to be an evening kayak tour. I feel the staff should have warned us 48 hours in advance and given us an opportunity to cancel. Also wear a water shirt due to the mosquitos , bathing suit and water shoes as proper attire not fully advertised ( one person showed up in jeans).

Loved the experience!! I was on the 6:30pm-8:30pm tour and it was perfect timing to appreciate the mangrove and the sunset. The bioluminescence was better seen with the help of a cover the tour guides provided and when kayaking back between the mangrove (we saw it when the paddles hit the water). Pedro and his crew were very nice and knowledgeable.
