The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations for our free time in Memphis. The stop for food and bathroom on the way there and on the way back was good.

The visit to Graceland and Memphis was the highlight of our trip. Graceland had a number of interesting museums showcasing Elvis’s clothes, cars etc and when combined with a visit to his home made for a great experience. Sun Studios was great too. The tour guide was particularly good. The Peabody Hotel and their legendary ducks was fun. We had food in the Flying Saucer which was good pub grub type experience and importantly as the bus was waiting, the service was prompt. A huge thanks to Viator for their phone call on the morning of our tour to enquire were we still going. Unfortunately we were delayed in arriving at the bus stop due to our car not arriving on time. While we weren’t quite late (we made it about two minutes before the 7am departure) it could have been assumed we weren’t coming. We really appreciate the consideration shown as we were really worried we would miss the bus. For anyone else who is taking this tour it’s well worth the cost and I would advise getting there early if you want a window seat.

The trip to Graceland and Memphis was mostly enjoyable. The bus was new and very clean, however the seats were a little too hard for the length of the trip. Booking was very easy through TripAdvisor. We've used them multiple times and in other countries. They are always communicating to ensure a smooth experience. Graceland is a must for any Elvis fan. Touring the mansion and museums was a learning experience. It's worth going back on your own and spending an entire day there to take more time going through the exhibits. There is a hotel on the grounds. We didn't investigate the cost, but will for next time. The trip to Sun Studios from Graceland was quick and the time there too short. As a musician, I would have appreciated spending a little more time there. The tour guide was quite knowledgeable, easy to speak with and quick to share information and history. The only minor disappointment was Beale Street in downtown Memphis. The 'historic" potion is closed to vehicular traffic. We arrived there in the late afternoon and parked at the western end just feet away from BB Kings. BB Kings was the only bright spot. There was live music and amazingly talented blues musicians. The food is good, but let's face it - its primarily a bar! The remainder of the street is dumpy bars and undesirable gift shops. Not to mention a number of sketchy men loitering about videoing all of us with their cell phones as we walked up and down the street. I called out one guy taking video of my wife and her friend and he claimed he wasn't despite the camera rolling on his phone as I confronted him and he turned away to leave. There are many newer buildings and parking garages constructed in the downtown area, yet on a Saturday afternoon at 5pm - 6pm there were hardly any people out. Memphis has a long way to go. I would not personally ever go there again for any reason. Other than Beale Street, our group enjoyed the trip immensely. Other people on the bus ride home were also chatting about the experience. A good time had by all.

Trip in all was very good. Trip to the mansion felt a little rushed, and very busy. Sun studios was very enjoyable so to was memphis. One negative, bus was a little to cramped for such a long drive. In all very enjoyable tour.
