Düsseldorf Altbier Quest: Taste Legendary Local Brews!

Fantastic time with Chris. Great tour, great insights. The breweries were all awesome choices and each had so much history that was shared with us.

Chris was very personable and knowledgeable about the beers and the five bars we went too. We loved every minute of our tour. Would highly recommend. I would recommend eating before the your or you will feel the five beers for sure!!!!

Jens was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The tour was perfect for our Stag Do weekend and we all had a brilliant time.

This is a tour of the four Altbier brewery's within Dusseldorf where we got to try 5 Altbiers together. The tour guide was nice and welcoming. He showed us the brewing process of the local Altbiers and the ingredients that go into them. The guide was happy to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting Dusseldorf who wants to learn more about the area and their culture.

Very fun (and informative) tour. Kristofer was a funny and knew great stories about each stop. I recommend this to anyone who likes beer.

Great time. Well worth the money. One tip, If you only speak english, make sure you will have an english speaking guide. 5 different bars with their own unique beers.

Have never been disappointed by a tour in a European city before but this one did not deliver. Firstly, as the only English speakers on the tour, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. This tour was advertised as being in English but, in terms of information given, we were told a fraction of what the German speakers were told. We had paid the same money! In terms of the visits to sample Altbier, we could easily have located these places ourselves and each stop, apart from the first, did seem rushed. It would be better to cover the tour over 3 hours, stay longer in each place, provide some snacks, and devote longer to all participants! I'm sure people would be happy to pay more and receive a better tour with a less grumpy guide. Not all was lost ... fortunately, a lovely German gentleman befriended us and filled in some of the missing information for us. I wish I'd given him the obligatory tip at the end, rather than the guide!

Didn’t like the beers and stort wasn’t great. We left the tour after round 2, wouldnt advice this tour to other people.
