Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do! This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Great experience with Mild to Wild Rafting. Super nice and fun guides. Ben was excellent as lead guide and safety instructor. Our guide in our raft, Jordan was excellent and entertaining during our afternoon trip. It was mostly a float trip with a few easy rapids that were fun and enjoyable for everyone. Our group was three retired couples who all had a great time. Nice to see the canyons and landscaping from the river perspective. We stayed mostly dry with only a few wet feet.

Fabulous day! Perfect weather and Devon and Taz were the best guides we’ve ever had! And we’ve been rafting on the Middle fork of the Salmon and in Alaska. Expertly guiding us down the river and thru “rapids.” Very personable and knowledgeable! Thanks again ladies!!

This was my wife & son’s first rafting trip, so went for « mild » experience. The tour guides were very friendly & informative. Our guide, Tom, had good anecdotes on the river and on the bus trips. The rapids were only Class 1 on our trip, but the scenery is splendid. My wife and son went for a swim in the 60F water, but I lingered on the raft to provide ballast. My son said he’s ready for more challenging rapids, so I consider that successful.

We enjoyed our guide and felt safe on our rafting trip. The scenery was amazing and a nice break from hiking. We would definitely recommend and would consider other outings with this group.

The rapids were low in October but we still had a great time. Gavin gave us a lot of history, geology and biodiversity information along our trip. We also managed to hit a few type 2 rapids and got a little wet in the process. FUN TIMES!

FUN afternoon with our guide Sean! It was extremely windy & challenging but we made the best of it. The rapids were great & we got a little wet! Young children were in our raft & enjoying jumping in. Definitely recommend for the amazing views!!

We had a great time rafting the Colorado! Mild class 1-2 rapids, but the scenery was amazing and our guide, Tom, made it really enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great group rating guides took 3 boats on a roughly 7 mile trip on the Colorado River. At this time of year it's a pretty mild trip with only a few easy rapids. Team was professional, fun, & our guide Tom told us a lot about the area. The scenery is beautiful and it was nice to be on the river that carved it's way through to the Grand Canyon and beyond!
