Vibrant Mexico City: Frida, Xochimilco & Coyoacán Adventure
Enjoy some of Mexico City’s must-see spots with our ‘Colors of Mexico’ adventure. Begin in Coyoacan, one of Mexico’s most influential cities. As you wander its tree-lined streets, you’ll learn how this city played a part in historical empires like the Aztecs and the Spanish. Then visit either La Casa Azul or the Casa Kahlo (depending on the selected option). Step into Frida Kahlo’s world through her original home or the innovative new museum, and immerse yourself in the life and art of one of Mexico’s most iconic and original artists. From the inspired art of Frida Kahlo, we’ll head to the eye-catching Xochimilco and board a trajinera - a colorful, gondola-like boat - for a ride through the neighborhood’s famous canals. As you indulge in local treats, your guide will share the incredible details of what makes this area a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before finishing the tour, walk around North America's oldest university and admire its Central Campus, another World Heritage site.

Lily,Alex, Caesar were the best guide tours we could've ever experienced in cdmx. They were patient, kind and thoughtful.

This is a must do tour in my opinion. For art lovers you have the quintessential Frida Kahlo museum and for the not so artsy crowd - the city of Coyoacán makes for a beautiful stroll. The highlight of my trip was ‘Mercado de Coyoacan’ where I tried one of the best Tacos - Birria tacos at Trinidad restaurant. Well it’s not a restaurant in a true sense but a sit out around the kitchen where you can watch all the magic happen. Do walk around the market, taste the local fruits, try the tostadas. It’s totally worth it! Also, the murals at University of Mexico were awe-inspiring. Our tour guide Barbara( Barbie) was one of the best tour guide I came across, spoke slowly and very clearly (English tour) and took time to explain everything. The tour is nicely paced and did not feel rushed at all. The boat rides at the end of tour gives a nice glimpse on how partying on the boat can be. It’s a lively jolly atmosphere on the boats with or without the mariachi bands. Overall a day well spent!

We had tour guides Hector and Fur. They had great explanations of places we stopped. The free time was enough to see the places around.

Alex was amazing and communicated very clearly with us about times and the itinerary and Jesus the driver was super careful and made sure that we were all in the bus before leaving to our next destination. Overall, I would recommend this spectacular tour with any close friends and family! The only thing we would skip is the buffet style restaurant, given they ran out of food by the time we got there and only got 1 plate, I’d recommend not buying the lunch and getting it elsewhere.

The entire experience was amazing and well organised. The tour guide Alex made sure everything went smoothly and gave a lot of info. He even came to help when needed. Jesus (driver) did an amazing job despite the city’s heavy traffic.

This will be my 5th time booking tours with AmigoTours and I’ve had a great experience every time. Fernanda and Hector, our tour guide was well informed and very helpful with any questions we had. We did Xochimilco, Coyoacán & Frida Kahlo (Blue House) Museum Tour.
