It's a bit physically challenging. You'll feel bad while doing the walking but elated when it's done.

This trip was amazing. My daughter and I enjoyed every part of it. Adur was our guide on the tour and he was so knowledgeable, and made the trip fun. He gave us our time and space for pictures. I give him 10 out of 10. I enjoyed every part of it.

This was a great day trip if you are visiting Bilbao and want to explore more of the Basque countryside and cost. We went to a nearby historical site which involves a nice hike and some stairs to a chapel that's on a tiny island. We visited a seaside town and watched the surfers, and most meaningful for me we visited Gernika and learned about the its history and connection to Picasso's famous painting of the attack on the town. The host was knowledgable and spoke excellent English.

The towns that we visited were breathtaking enjoy every single one of them! Edur our tour guide was amazing I was able to learn a lot of the history of the Basque Country, he was knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. I can tell he went above and beyond for every single person to feel included and answer all of our questions!

Idid the tour to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Gernika and Mundaka with Asier Pérez, and it was fantastic. Asier was super attentive, shared great information in a really engaging way, and kept the whole trip fun from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Brilliant tour combining scenery, activity, food, and history/culture. Our tour guide Edu was so knowledgable and passionate with great tips on places to eat and things to do.

It was OK. Our driver/tour guide was great - spoke excellent English, was talkative, knew his history so was informative but also entertaining. But the trip itself was just so-so. Gaztelugatxe is nice to look at but unless you want to do the hike to the monastery and then back up, there is a solid 90 minutes of dong nothing while waiting for those who did go on the hike. Mundaka was a useless stop and Gernika would have been also (just to see an outdoor mural of Picasso’s painting) but for the fact that we were there the last Monday of October, when they hold an annual harvest festival, and that actually was fun to see. But honestly don’t know if could recommend it otherwise.

This was a great trip overall. Our tour guide was full of useful information and provided us history of the region. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting a set from “Game of Thrones” but more importantly, this beautiful coastline and several historic towns nearby.

Wonderful tour with guide Asier. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and shared his love of his country with us. We were a small group of nine in a comfortable van, water provided. Gaztelugatxe is a challenge, it can be done but I waited as the others hiked the 241 steps to the hermitage. There were interesting things to see during the wait. The highlight of the tour was arriving at Gernika on the last Monday of October for the market. Asier was excited to share this local tradition with us. We blended into the crowds, watched the festivities and sampled local favorites cheese, wine and the Basque sandwich, talao, a corn flour wrap wrapped around xistora local sausage. We never would have known about this nor tried it without his knowledge. Great memories. Thank you Asier!

Fantastic excursion with Nora (guide). Beautiful places, very good food, nice wine, amazing company. The trip was exactly 6 hours, on time departure/arrival. Our guide Nora was very informative, give us a lot of details and infos about all the places representing the Basque history. Meeting point & drop off next to the Puppy. Small group of 8, very international group and nice people, good fun. Transportation was with a very good quality minibus, free bottled water, and i have to mention a very good driver. (Well done Nora!) Although the first part of the trip (Gaztelugatxe) is pretty demanding physically with a steep up&down, and a 241 steps up later and same back, the stairs are the easiest part. But it totally worth it! 2nd stop Mundaka, nice little village with an amazing lunch and wine (you pay what you eat&drink), and 3rd stop Gernika with is history and Picasso. Well organised trip, very informative, amazing guide, would be happy to do it again anytime! Highly recommended!
