Gozo's Secrets: Private Boat & Jeep Safari Island Discovery

Interesting and varied experience. Well lead by Florence. Lots to see, with highlight being boat trip around the caves

Ordinary start with the pick up process from Valletta taking 1.5 hours to get to the boat. Our guide Godwin was a character and provided plenty of laughs during the day. The weather was ordinary with a huge electrical storm wasting an hour but we drove on and saw most of the sights of Gozo. A large swell stopped all boats to the grotto and a bug in the water stopped all swimming, so things weren't going our way! But a really good lunch with some vino got the afternoon off with a bang. A long day (8am-6pm) but all in all an enjoyable trip. My suggestion is they look at the fast transfer to Gozo?

Fab way to see Gozo, very well organised, nice lunch. Speed boat there and back was fun. Only negative bit cramped for 5 people in backnof jeep.

From the moment you are picked up at your hotel, to the trip across the water in speed boat/launch everything was perfectly arranged and well organised. We were met in gozo and put into groups of 4 where everyone spoke the same language. Mark our driver met us and took us to our open backed jeep and our journey around Gozo began. As Mark was born on the island he took us to places a little off the beaten track for great views, interesting facts and history about the island. We visited an archeological park(small entrance fee payable), several bays, citadel, had a nice lunch including wine and Mark even took me too see the Liverpool supporters club after lunch. We travelled to the highest village in gozo and then took an amazing journey down to the coast free wheeling most of the way. There we saw salt being produced in the salt pans and even had time to get a beer before The end of the day. We visited Ta-pinu Roman Catholic church in gozo where miracles have happened and it is regarded as a very holy site. Overall an amazing day was had, we managed to see the blue groto on the way back to the mainland and we were safely dropped back to our hotel at the end of the day.l

Is a great intro to Gozo and what the island has to offer. You get a good lay of the land plus some interesting stops along the way

The tour of Gozo was great. The pickup was prompt, the boat rides were nice, the island tour and our guide was really interesting and fun. Our jeep was new, they hadnt even attached a windshield to it yet. So it became our AC. I was lucky to get put with 4 college girls from Antwerp who spoke English and they made the tour even more fun.

What a great day from start to finish (Sunday 21 Sept). We got picked up at a local hotel by a friendly driver and dropped off to catch the boat straight away to Gozo. Arrived in Gozo and efficiently escorted to our jeep with our driver, Matheus. The tour was so good, and Matheus was extremely informative. We went everywhere on the itinerary, which was where we wanted to go. We loved Gozo and I'm so glad we booked this tour as we only saw one hop on, hop off buses along our way. I believe we would have wasted so much time waiting for the bus if we didn't have the jeep. Lunch was at a lovely restaurant and enjoyable. On our return to Malta, the boat takes you very near Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon, which was a nice surprise. Arrived back on Malta and only waited for about 10 mins for everyone to return. Had a nice chat with the driver while we waited, and we were on our way back to the hotel. Overall, the day ran extremely well and probably the most efficiently organised trip I have ever booked. I would definitely recommend this trip.

the whole experience was fantastic and a great way to see Gozo. Lewis our guide showed us the best parts and the real Gozo. A trip not to be missed.
