My husband and I enjoyed our trip around Copenhagen. Our guide, Sillas, provided just the right mix of history and humor and kept us all informed and entertained. Very much enjoyed the castles, and the Viking Ship museum was an unexpected highlight. Highly recommend!

The Grand Day Trip is a superb way to experience the history of Denmark through the eyes of Hamlet Tours and their excellent guide. Thomas our tour guide and self-described “Dane for the day” made visiting the castles and museums both entertaining and informative. He is an excellent storyteller and highlighted so many wonderful details of the architecture we saw, little things with great stories behind them that would be easy to miss. Definitely didn’t think we’d learn the importance of special red paint or that we’d see the tiniest paw print immortilized in 900 year old brick! His history tales gave us valuable context for the times and places of all the stops and helped us appreciate each one even more. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were the last to get dropped off at the end of the day and scored some great recommendations close to our hotel and had great conversation. Absolute highlight of our trip and strongly recommend for anyone looking to make the most of their time in Denmark. 10/10 mini bus playlist as well!

Were to begin... this tour was exceptional and our guide, Thomas, was perfect! His knowledge of the history of Copenhagen was incredible and his humour just added to the fascinating stories! This tour is amazing if you want all things Royal and Castles just know there is nothing inside the city of Copenhagen. The tour and especially our guide Peter was amazing! You get to see historical Viking museum, Hamlet Castle etc. This is the tour you want to see all the must see sights that our outside the city with an amazing guide and comfortable bus. Peter and the tour were wonderful i would make this a must and your first tour before seeing the city to understand tue history.

We thoroughly enjoyed this full day tour. Silas, our guide & driver, was excellent. He was informative and shared a great deal of history. The stops were great and the drive was beautiful overview of the country.
