Very helpful tour guides. Managed to visit a few places to absorb the most of Valparaiso including Vino, Museo Neruda, Valparaíso and Viña del Mar.

Everything went smoothly as planned. We had an energetic and knowledgeable tour guides (Javiera and Diego) and a safe driver (forget his name)

I joined the Valparaíso Tour, and while the city itself was beautiful and the itinerary covered some great sights, I was disappointed with several aspects of the experience. First, the wine tasting only included two wines — one red and one white, which felt underwhelming compared to what was advertised. Additionally, hotel pickup was not offered, unlike many other tours. The meeting address was slightly off, and I had to walk around to find the location. I only spotted the bus by chance, which prevented me from missing the tour entirely. The departure process was also confusing. The meeting time was listed as 9:15 a.m., and I arrived on time. By 9:30, we still hadn’t left, so I asked to use the restroom. The guide initially seemed reluctant to let me go, saying we were leaving in five minutes. However, we didn’t actually depart until 9:50 a.m., well after I returned. Another issue was the language balance. Although the tour was advertised as bilingual, the guide spoke Spanish almost the entire time. As the only English-speaking guest, I often felt left out, and by the end, he stopped translating altogether. I suppose he was tired. I understand Spanish is the primary language in Chile, but bilingual tours should ensure both groups feel equally included. Overall, I enjoyed the sights of Valparaíso — the city is vibrant and colorful — but I felt rushed when taking photos and would recommend choosing a smaller group tour in the future that offers hotel pickup and better bilingual support.

We took the tour to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar and found it to be good overall, though with some areas for improvement. The coach bus was comfortable, which made the ride itself quite pleasant. Our favorite part of the day was visiting Neruda’s house museum—an absolute highlight and well worth the trip. Unfortunately, what made the tour less enjoyable for us was the limited English provided. Although the guide was very kind, most of the explanations were in Spanish. We often felt lost, unsure of what we were seeing or what we were supposed to do at many stops. This made it difficult to fully appreciate the places we visited. On the positive side, the lunch stop was lovely—we really enjoyed the restaurant and the meal provided. Still, the lack of detailed guidance in English left us feeling like we missed out on much of the day. Overall, it was a decent tour, but sadly not one we would choose to do again.
