Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is located on gorgeous Vancouver Island and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful cities. It is famous for the historic Empress Hotel, the Parliament buildings and beautiful Butchart Gardens. Upon leaving Vancouver, you will take a scenic ferry ride from the Vancouver mainland through the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From here, you will have a driving tour to Victoria, and of Victoria’s downtown area featuring the Inner Harbour, The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Mile 0 and the historic Chinatown. Our tour guide, Bernie, was very informative and funny. The only bad thing about the trip was the van, I think it needed new shocks. The ride was very bumpy and the van rattled a lot.

Kim, our tour guide was phenomenal! So informative, set proper expectations, was funny and friendly. She helped made the experience an A+. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. She lent me her phone charger when I ran out of battery.

My mom and I took this tour to Victoria and Butchart Gardens and it was a perfect day! Byron was an awesome tour guide, very punctual and mindful of making the most of our time. All of his recommendations about what to see and where to eat were spot on. He is also very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the culture and history of what we were seeing. We liked that we visited Victoria first and then Butchart Gardens at the end because there was NO ONE at the park by the time we got there and it was wonderful!

This tour was fantastic. Our guide, Byron, was super knowledgeable and shared great information throughout the tour. His recommendations made our day really wonderful. The itinerary gave a good amount of time at each stop and both Victoria and Butchart Gardens were beautiful.
