Arches 4x4: Moab's Breathtaking Off-Road Adventure

Hop into a Toyota Land Cruiser with your expert guide and head north from Moab to the backcountry entrance of Arches National Park and avoid the crowds. Our first stop is to see dinosaur footprints as we pass through Utahraptor State Park. After entry to the National Park, we'll pass Balanced Rock, one of the most iconic features of the Park, standing a staggering 128 feet! The 4X4 trail into the backcounty climbs a short but steep rock wall passing sandstone fins, towering pinnacles and tall spires known as the Marching Men. We stop at Tower Arch for an optional hike. As you travel along the track, hear informative commentary about the geology, wildlife and history of the park. We make another stop at Eye of the Whale for an optional hike to a seldom visited slick rock playground named Herdina Park. After exploring the backcountry we exit through the stunning Courthouse Towers before your guide returns you to Moab.

Such an amazing tour from Ron! Highly recommend the backcountry if everyone is able. It is spectacular and Ron is so very knowledgeable. Went with teenagers and they both loved it! Arches is nice from the pavement, but it’s breathtaking from the back roads. Don’t miss a chance to do this tour, you won’t be sorry.

Adam was a good and knowledgeable guide. But not worth the price of admission. You can do better on your own

We really had a great time with our driver Abby. She was very knowledgeable and a great driver. The only issues we had with our trip was it we were not made aware that there would be another couple riding with us. My wife had to ride in the middle back seat which made it hard to see everything. We still had a good time and would recommend.

Marsha was a fantastic guide and was so knowledgeable about the park. She maneuvered us through the backcountry with ease and we were able to access that area of Arches that otherwise we wouldn’t have seen. Our family had a great time!

Great jeep tour through the backroads of Arches! Our tour guided took us on some backroads that could barely be called roads and only had 3 wheels on the road in some sections. it was scary/ awesome. He was very accommodating and made the tour fun even for us 69 year olds. Highly recommend this tour

Adam did a great job with showing us parts of the park that were of the beaten path. Also provided great insight on the geology.

Definitely a lot of fun on the back roads and off roads of Arches NP. Driver/guide was an excellent - very knowledgeable. A great use of 4 hours.

Excellent experience with a knowledgeable guide. Saw parts of the part few visitors see. Tour was about 5 hours.

We had a great 1/2 day 4x4 trip in Arches. They took us to places you couldn’t get to driving on the park road ourselves. They provided snacks and water and did stop at bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this trip.

The 4x4 adventure was the highlight of our Southwest trip. Annie was our driver/guide and she shared lots of information about the area and the park itself. We highly recommend Annie and NAVTEC .
