Unforgettable Joburg & Soweto: Apartheid Museum Immersion

What an action packed day in Johannesburg! Tinyiko was the Best! He was very knowledgable about all aspects of South African history and the places we went, and he was also enthusiastic and fun too! My favorite part was experiencing the people and food of SOWETO, but a close second was learning about Apartheid and how the people overcame under Nelson Mandela's leadership.

We had a very interesting and educational day tour with Khutso who was fun and was very happy to share his knowledge with us. We learned a lot! Would highly recommend.

Excellent tour of Johannesburg with guide Khutso. Constitution Hill was amazing, visiting Mandela’s home historical, touring Soweto educational and lunching at an authentic African food restaurant excellent.

We had Carson as our tour guide today and he was absolutely fantastic!!! He was so energetic throughout the whole tour and kept me engaged all day. He really knew his facts and gave all the right information! Definitely a tour not to be missed and you will be lucky to get Carson as a tour guide. I really enjoyed talking to Lebo, and learning some of the history of JoBurg. It was a great experience overall. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the information at the museums, but that’s to be expected (for me at least). I’d love to hang out with Lebo more; he’s a gem.
