Soweto's Soul: Unforgettable Half-Day Cultural Immersion

Clement was a fantastic guide who knows the area very well and gave us a lot of personal stories and anecdotes. It was great to see all sides of Soweto. The Hector Pieterson museum was also a small but impactful experience covering the context, incident and aftermath of a pivotal part of South African history. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Soweto but doesn’t know where to start.

Thomas was puctual and friendly when he picked us up at the airport. Once we were settled in the car, he proceeded to descibe everything around us and about Joburg. He was thorough on the history of the Soweto uprising.

This was great!! Our guide Thapelo has told us very deep insights of Johannesburg as well of Soweto! Deep emotional experiences in Soveto! He also gave us enough time to some stops and overall this was a very relaxed tour without any rush. Full 5 stars for this tour!!

This was an amazing experience and Marc was an excellent guide who was very prompt. We visited a number of historical sites and went deep into the township to experience daily life. The highlight for me was Vilakazi Street and the Hector Pieterson monument. I highly recommend this experience and Marc as a guide.

Cpho had so much knowledge about the history. If you do not have much time I highly recommend this tour. I did it before my flight. Hope was guiding we to the Kindergarten-Project in her Township. Still makes me emotional since she told so much from herself, the living and the circumstances and about the projeczmt as well. 🥹🥹🥹

5 +Tsepo our guide was very knowledgeable of the history and presented it well. The only downside was that the apartheid museum is closed Mondays.
