Beautiful way to spend an afternoon in Charleston. Narration was informative and interesting. The boat was clean and casual.

Narration was interesting and informative. Duration was perfect; sights are great. Chairs are comfortable; snack bar is a good extra.

It is generally cooler by the water. Bring s sweater. Lots of great information friendly staff. Would recommended.

One of the best narrated cruises ever. Captain Travis captivates his listeners with a combination of deep knowledge, personal anecdotes, humor and quizzes. The audio was crystal clear. A great way to enjoy the sea and the offshore sites.

It was windy, glad we had jackets. Approaching Ft. Sumter Monarch butterflies were all around. Made me think they were honoring the souls there.

Staff- very nice. Tour was informative & interesting. Convenient location near Fort Sumpter boat. Boat had several levels & drinks & snacks.

- There is a flat pier out to the boat and the boarding ramp is about 30 feet long. Travelers will board on the top deck and there are stairs to the lower level. Restrooms are located on the top deck.

DAY OF TRAVEL Guests must check in with the customer service agents at our ticket kiosk located at the Charleston Maritime Center upon arrival. Please arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of scheduled tour time. Departure point: Charleston Maritime Center, 10 Wharfside Street, Charleston, SC 29401 PLEASE NOTE There is no parking at the Charleston Maritime Center. The closest parking to the Maritime Center will be in the SC Aquarium Parking Garage located at 24 Calhoun Street, just before the intersection of Concord Street. The Maritime Center is a short walk down Concord Street to Inspection Street and then towards the water. You will see the Carolina Belle as soon as you get past the International African American Museum and behind The Charleston Maritime Center. We highly encourage ride share through Uber or Lyft, which is readily available downtown or take a Bike Taxi. There is also a free downtown shuttle provided through Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA). This shuttle is called the DASH and the 210 route comes to the Aquarium.
