One of the best holiday experiences we have had, I would highly recommend this if you get the opportunity to have a go in one of these, the guides were great and you were supported throughout

We were super excited to participate in the 2.5 hour journey on the buggy with the expectation we would have views of the volcano and grounds. We completed 3 stops, first one we stopped walked around, second we stopped walked around with 1 plastic cup of coke or fanta offered and the 3rd stop was on the dunes which was very brief!!! To be honest I think they made these stops to allow time to photographers to try and encourage tourists to buy their photos... the buggy driving was brilliant. The instructor we had prior to the drive had advised all of us to remain close to eachother on the road as you drive partly on the local roads... however during our drive at roundabout the person to the LEFT of us had way and was going too fast for us to go as we would have been crashed into so we stopped (As sensible people do) The driver spoke to my husband quite rudely and told him not to put a gap between the group on the road, despite the dangers being explained he was dismissive and voiced how the road users SHOULD let us go... This car was not LETTING us go and we certainly were not endangering ourselves for anyone!! There are mad drivers on the road in Fuertaventura... so my advise KEEP SAFE!!! Would recommend goggles during the drive (eyes still get sand in them with sunglasses) and a Bandana (the lighter ones around the neck dont protect from sand) We had a great time but disappointed about the views and the attitude from the instructor regarding our safety!

Great experience, lovely views and great pictures taken by the staff. Booked through here as it’s a lot cheaper

After reading several reviews of mixed comments we were slightly hesitant as to what to expect from this activity. We would thoroughly recommend this tour, a mix of on and off road terrain, some great views and in our opinion good value for money…..do it!

Booked this with our 19 year old daughter. Was a bit hesitant as some reviews were a bit negative about not enough off road. Being an old MX rider I wasn’t expecting much but the whole excursion was fantastic the off road was amazing and kept us on our toes but also being safe enough for our daughter to manage on her own driving! The instructors were fantastic and very safety conscious. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. And we will definitely be doing this again.

We had the best morning on this excursion and would recommend it to everyone! So worth the price. Lovely views and plenty of stops to switch drivers!

We were skeptical of the price point but I’d say the experience was worth it. we were confused about the availability of hotel pickup but we just showed up at the dune buggy office as we didn’t know how to arrange/if included. tripadvisor is the cheapest you’ll find this, going in person to the stalls/office they charge €139 for 1 buggy, 2 people. As disclosed, you do not ride on the sand dunes just the roads/gravel tracks. there are 3 stops in total where people may swap seats to drive + take pictures and the first one in the natural park is definitely the best. the winds rushing past you on the buggy can feel a bit cold so you might wanna consider putting a jumper on after the stop- do note your clothes will get covered in dust and sand that won’t come out without proper washing so avoid wearing white/light or anything you intend to rewear. made the mistake of wearing my favourite shorts. at the 3rd stop our hair and skin was coated in it, which was uncomfortable but something you only notice if you touch your face/look in the mirror. the sunglasses and bandana are mandatory which i’d recommend buying before hand as they charge €3 for bandanas, €19 for glasses and €5 for goggles. regardless of the glasses you still got some dust in your eye so it would’ve been nicer if they’d provided strap-on goggles but it was nothing painful/intolerable. the buggy is automatic and there is no gearstick to control at all, and the guides turn the engine on and off. the ride was nice, scenic, a good length and felt a lot faster than the actual 30km we were going, i can imagine adrenaline junkies could find the experience repetitive but it was thrilling for me personally. the guides are nice and they repeat things in english, they also provide free water bottles at the office and a cup of soft drink at stop 3. overall i’d say i wouldn’t go again for the price but i’m definitely glad i went for the experience. it’s just a matter of determining whether the price is worth it for you, but do consider the guides, insurance, gasoline etc. that’s included.

Absolutely loves our trip for the 6 of us. Well organized and experienced guys who constantly check on the whole group so no one gets left behind Do take an old jacket or something as does get but chilly U drive up to the edge of the sand dunes and can then walkabout on them for a while to see just how beautiful the place is.

Disapointing expensive experience .. personally i was looking fwd to this but found it more painful than much else .Its advertised as Dune buggys ..far from that no dunes involved except a 5 min stop to take a picture rest of time is dirt tracks and main roads for me it lacked any adrenalin rush instead all u got was eyes full of grit and dust being kicked up from.the vehicle in front so u cant see a thing .we took sunglasses and face coverings but it needs proper goggles and a plastic windscreen on buggys to help with constant crap in your eyes ..not for me overpriced generally uncomfortable experience

Expensive bit of fun. Don’t fall for the more “powerful” buggy as u all drive in a slow convoy anyway so it makes no difference. No dunes just roads & a bit of a dusty track. Lots of wasted time with a photographer getting his cut. No interaction regarding any information on stops. Wear old clothes & take sunglasses & face cover to stop the dust. You will get mucky. We did this year’s ago when u were allowed to go over to El Cotillo & feed chipmunks but it’s totally different now. The price should be reduced as it’s Way too expensive for what you get! And they need to change name as it’s misleading.
