We’ve just come back from a three-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. From the moment we stepped on board, everything ran so smoothly and felt really special. Our guide, Mahmoud, was brilliant. He knew everything there was to know about the history and sites, but what really stood out was the way he explained things with so much enthusiasm and humour. He kept everyone relaxed and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. The boat was lovely – clean, comfortable, and a great place to unwind after busy days exploring. We managed to see so many incredible places, including Abu Simbel, the Valley of the Kings, and the stunning Temple of Karnak. One of my favourite moments was visiting Karnak early in the morning before the crowds arrived – it felt calm and almost magical. To top it all off, we finished our trip with a sunrise balloon ride over Luxor, which was absolutely unforgettable. It was the perfect way to end an amazing few days. I can’t thank Mahmoud enough for making the experience so enjoyable. If you’re thinking about doing a Nile cruise, I’d definitely recommend it and if you can, ask for Mahmoud as your guide!!

Mahmoud is a wonderful tour guide that provided a easy access, information and was above and beyond to help us in every need (including historical knowledge, transfer help). He is also extremely funny and easygoing! Couldn’t be happier with our choice!

This cruise was a heap of fun! Great way to explore all of the sites between Aswan and Luxor, and the times cruising along the Nile had beautiful views from the room and the boat’s sundeck. Our guide Amr Difallah was wonderful- he was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and funny.

For our tour Mohamed Gobran was our guide. I will start with the good and then the bad. The good: Mohamed is very kind and accommodating on my wife and I’s trip. My wife became ill part way through and Mohamed refunded one of the tickets as well as took me to the pharmacy to help me get medicine. This alone was a great service and we were extremely grateful. Mohamed is very knowledgeable of the history of Egypt as well as made it interesting and kept our group engaged. He kept us safe and made everyone a part of the activities for the days we were on the cruise. The undesirable/bad aspects for us: This is a jam packed tour with early days. If you don’t have the ability to keep up it will be rough. The sites are very spread out throughout the country and takes a considerable amount of time to get to. With the length of the cruise, I think they do a good job with the amount of time we had. The cruise ship is a basic accommodation with no frills. The food was subpar at best. It made it difficult at times when there was not much that was appealing meal after meal. The staff on the cruise ship were incredible which made it tolerable. On my cruise we went to the alabaster factory and perfume factory. This was a sales pitch with overpriced items. Although it was “neat” I feel our time could have been spent at a bazaar where worthwhile shopping could have been done. All of the sites had bazaars attached which we were rushed through to get to the next site. It would have been helpful to allot time to shop at these places. Overall it accomplished what I came to Egypt to do. Yala habibi! Thank you Mohamed for making it a great experience.

Mohamed Gobran was our guide and was the absolute best! He made our trip very memorable. He was so knowledgeable, passionate, and went above and beyond anything we needed. The itinerary was packed with so much history. Very early morning starts made for a long day, and we were hot and tired at the end of each day, but the experience made it worthwhile. Mohamed directed us to the most important points of each Temple but gave us ample time at each site to explore on our own. While the boat was not a 5 star hotel, the accommodations were comfortable, the meals were delicious, the staff was great and eager to please. The coffee and tea were free, but the water, soda, and alcoholic beverages were very reasonable. I would recommend this cruise to anyone, and if you are lucky enough to have Mohamed as your guide, you will have a most memorable trip!

Our guide Amr Dief Alah was very funny and made the experience feel very personal. He was very knowledgeable and made the tours interesting. He offered his own time to take me shopping in the markets at night. I definitely recommend this excursion.

Our guide, Amr Dief Alah, was exceptional at keeping us on time, together, and constantly laughing! There were so many unbelievable sites and temples… and I feel we saw them with enough time to enjoy. The staff on the ship were excellent… We felt this was the best way to experience the Nile. We met a great group of people who made the trip so memorable!
