Unforgettable Kangaroo Island: One-Day Wild Adventure from Adelaide

This trip was the highlight of my time in Adelaide. My guide was immensely knowledgeable and had many engaging and exciting stories to share about the many parts of the island. The highlights we saw on the tour were all nothing short of incredible as well. I cannot recommend this experience enough!

One of the very best tours that I have taken. I joined at Cape Jervis (not Adelaide). As soon as we boarded the coach until we returned to the ferry 9 hours later, Joanne our driver & guide, told us stories & informed commentary about the island’s social, aboriginal & white settler histories; the ecology, geology and geography all told from a soundly informed and knowledgeable depth. We saw amazing and wonderful sights, ate well and were entertained with Joanne’s sense of humour. Thank you - truly an informative, action packed day.

It is a long day with a lot of time traveling. Do it over 2 days. You see a lot over the day is you only have time for one day. The tour guide was great.

It was absolutely amazing! It’s a long day but its so worth it!! Our tour guide was super funny and we were always happy and entertained during the bus drives:) I‘d recommend it to solo backpackers especially because you meet people on your trip very easily and can spend the whole day getting to know them and the awesome island🥹

We really enjoyed our day trip out to Kangaroo Island from the beginning right to the end. Our tour guide Richard was really good and very knowledgeable of the history of the Island and we were left very happy. This was a very special trip for us as my husband and I were celebrating our 39th Wedding Anniversary

Very knowledgeable guides and drivers. Both the one from Adelaide to the ferry; the one on the island; and the one driving from the ferry back to Adelaide. Plenty of time for each stop on the island. The tour comes highly recommended ;-)

This was a wonderful day full of variety and amazing sights. Our guide, Hamish, did an excellent of job of explaining life, animals and all facts on the island. There is lots to see and there is a lot of road to cover but every part of it is worth the kilometres. The trip is well-structured and there are many different memories to capture. It is also very easy to join this trip from Adelaide.

The trip covers a lot of ground. The host was awesome and drove with safety and precision in mind. The ferry was rough the day we went, but was still very cool. The roads are winding and you should be prepared for that if you are not good at sitting for an extended period. The trip was fun, informative and well organized. Food was very good too. Tour guide was excellent.

Kangaroo Island was a blast! Everything was so well-organized. Seriously, hanging out with kangaroos and koalas was an amazing adventure. Definitely a memory I'll keep.
