Saona Island VIP Catamaran: Unforgettable Paradise Awaits

We went with TUI, pick up in Bayhibe but tour guide was late, wear flip-flops as you're bare feet most of the time, TAKE SWIM SHOES, Saona Island is rocky as you enter the water. We had a small boat out to the Catamaran where we could snorkel before the start. Then a ride to a shallow area for another swim, then onto the Island where we had lunch which I enjoyed. There was nibbles on the way out but people helped themselves and staff didn't care. Many say outside but we sat at the back where the music blared out. They would turn it down for a few seconds then back up, we were promised this would not happen. By time we got to the Island there was a waste of time handing out paid for drinks then food. We ended up with 90 minutes free time on the Island and it depends on what part your boat goes to as to if you get a good place or not. Hundreds of boats go there and spread around the Island so some get good areas, others not so good, you can get an area with a lot of black flies, we were lucky. Sea is cloudy so waste of time snorkelling. Shade was only from the palm trees. On the way back it was a speed boat, 1 hour and you're back but again very, very load drum and base music, (why).

Exceeded expectations. This business is exceptionally well run. The office staff was professional and incredibly easy to work with. They were also very helpful arranging a taxi at the end of the day for us back to the airport as we did this excursion on our last day. The boat is very well kept. When they say they limit the numbers on board, they mean it. It was a very small crowd and we saw so many boats going by was standing room only whereas we had all the room to lounge in the shaver sun we wanted. The food was excellent. The drinks were great. There was some music playing, but not too loud. If you are looking for more of a relaxed sailing experience and a beautiful day on the water without the crowds and loud music this is the trip for you.

This is our second sale on a trip… The first one was with a larger boat, a dance floor loud music… Oh, and all it was a good trip This one was simply excellent… Let me start out with the food. It was top-notch delicious a good variety. The crew is excellent good communication the whole time the boat was wonderful for storing your bags and just being out on the boat with the guests Conversation was excellent. The trip to Sedona is always wonderful. It’s the best thing that we ever do in Punta Cana you can never go wrong on this excursion. I would highly recommend this private excursion for couples wanting a little bit more quiet rather than the party barge feel. I wanted to add that the communication between the excursion administrators and us was excellent… That’s a plus

Relaxing, well organised and attentive crew. Plenty of space on the catamaran and very clean, great lunch! Valentine was really friendly as were all the crew. So pleased we chose this trip instead as we didn’t want a party boat or crowed boat. We were taken to a private area on the beach at Saona which was perfect. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!

We went with these guys on 10/11/25 and I have to say Charlotte and the crew we had were EXCELLENT! The entire day was very well planned, organised and executed! Fantastic boat, fantastic team and a truly amazing day. We would 1000% recommend 👌

We had a wonderful day on this catamaran trip. Couldn’t fault the experience - there was plenty of space for everyone on the boat. There was a constant flow of drinks and snacks, lunch was great. Staff and guide/hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable and generally made it a very easy, lovely day! The one thing I’d warn people of is probably not to book if you’re not already staying in Bayahibe. We were staying in Bávaro and the transfer (we paid $70 round trip for a private transfer through the company, which we thought would be just for us but we actually picked up 2 other couples and it took over 2hrs!). So just be wary of this and if you’re happy to spend that time, go for it :)

My partner and I went on the day trip a few weeks ago and it was brilliant. The staff were very helpful with us making payment due to some issues with us getting cash. The whole day was great. A lovely catamaran with on boat drinks, toilets and shower, lovely lunch. The guides helped us locate starfish, stingrays and blowfish whilst snorkeling. A great time on santa away from the other parties. A small inclusive group (other catamaran we saw were standing room only!) The trip was the best part of our 10day holiday at a 5 star hotel by a long way. It was truly excellent value for money and a lovely day out. Thank you

Had a wonderful time at Soana Island. The luxury catamaran is spacious and comfortable. The trip was set at a good pace and plenty of snacks on offer. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would definitely recommend.

I got picked up at my hotel. Then it was about 90 mins to get to the site. I checked in and th company gave me a bracelet. And off we were. Angel, Captain Andre’s and the staff were so professional and very friendly and it was an amazing time. It is small group in a big catamaran. The amazing thing was that we all had room to roam the boat. I and others noticed other boats and how packed. We had our own private beach time at Saona amd man I felt like I was in heaven. One thing I do want to emphasize is bring as much mosquito repellent as you can. They will get you. Overall the best experience in an excursion I’ve had while traveling. If I do come back I’m definitely booking them again. Everything was amazing and very thankful for the experience
