Ultimate South Coast Journey: Waterfalls, Glaciers & Beaches

We were able to drive through downtown Reykjavik, the suburbs, and finally country side towns. We could see farms, and ranches which gave us a better idea of the country as a whole. That was even more important to me than Vik and the two waterfalls and the Black Beach. You basically are driven around for eight hours to spend less than 2-3 hours on different sites.

Cold and almost dangerously windy. The waterfalls were beautiful and the glacier was interesting. The black sand beach was fascinating. We received a lot of information from the guide but I would have appreciated a bit more personal info about her. My chief concern that despite the fact that asked her to turn up the heat she failed to make the bus warm- people were wearing hats and gloves in the bus because it was so cold- there was no heat at all despite requests to turn on the heat.

Excellent trip. We saw the beautiful black sand beaches, several waterfalls, a glacier and amazing scenery and an overall pleasant tour.

Wow is the only word that comes to mind. This was a great tour and we did not feel rushed. We were able to see everything and I didn’t have to drive!!!! Thank you

We had an absolutely wonderful time! All the stops on the tour are beyond beautiful. Our tour guide, Orvar, was friendly, welcoming, and professional. He transported us safely and efficiently to each site, while sharing great information about each location. I fully recommend this tour, it is an experience we will never forget!

Marcel was the tour guide. He was fabulous, didn’t talk to much but gave you funny stories, good facts and history about the south coast of Iceland.

Great tour. Our guide Devly was wonderful. Told us information about the country and all the places we stopped at. Definitely have rain gear for one of the watwrfalls

Amazing day from start to finish. We enjoyed every minute and would recommend anyome to this trip. Long day but well worth it.

Our your leader, Wojtek, was great. Good sense of humor, with just the right amount of talking. Very personable. We would have liked a few more stops just for photos of the area. And we thought Vik would be more of a small town visit. We were very happy we chose this over the Golden Circle.

It was a great trip! We lucked out as it only rained when we were getting picked up and on our way home. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helped us all have a wonderful time. Saw lots of beautiful sites and will sleep like a baby tonight.
