We had a truly amazing day with Gregg. He really thought of everything. Right at the start of the tour, a few little surprises were waiting for us. Gregg was able to tell us so much about Lesotho and the Sani Pass in general. We had a day we will never forget! Thank you!!

What a great day Greg and Angie made for me! The landscape was out of this world, the visit to a Lesothan lady warm and informative. Greg's driving was perfect and he was always ready to enlighten me (I am very curious) But I will always remember the many heartwarming details: Delicious homemade treats, little gifts, a funny "Sani Pass Certificate" with a nice picture of its hair-raising road. Even a bouquet of flowers, can you believe it! And a private tour for a more than reasonable price... So, a million thanks to Greg and Angie for making a special day even more special with their generous thoughtfulness. I will not easily forget this day!

The trip certainly exceeded our expectations. Angie provided the most delicious birthday treats and little gifts making my husbands day really special. Definitely made memories to last a lifetime. Our Guide Greg was fun yet professional, experienced and very knowledgeable about the area. Angie takea the lunch order ahead of time to reduce waiting time which is marvelous on a busy day. Lunch was delicious... recommend the pizzas and curry.

This was an absolutely amazing and very educational tour. Not only did they make it very romantic with champagne and homemade heart cupcakes for our anniversary but the tour guide, Nomvelo, had a wide knowledge on plants, birds to the history of the area and the Sani Pass, which it a lot more of a in-depth outing. The tea stop, detail to cards, menus and homemade treats were so thought out and worth the extra effort. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more exclusive and unique experience to going up Sani pass

We had an unforgettable private Sani Pass tour with Greg. Traveling as a group of three, we felt completely safe in his experienced hands navigating the winding, unpaved roads. Greg was not only an expert driver but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local context, sharing interesting insights throughout the journey. What made the trip extra special were the thoughtful little touches. He brought along coffee, tea and delicious homemade cookies in a picnic basket for us to enjoy while taking in the breathtaking views. He even had blankets ready in the car in case we got cold. Greg took care of all the border formalities, including tourist visas for two of us, making the process smooth and stress-free. A standout moment was visiting a local villager’s hut where we tasted freshly baked bread and heard her story about life in rural Lesotho. We wrapped up the day with lunch at the highest pub in Africa. It was a well-organised and truly memorable experience. We would highly recommend Greg as your guide!

We were staying at Sani View Cottage and Angie arranged a day trip for us up the Sani Pass and into Lesotho. We have never seen snow before so she arranged that we go up the Swartberg mountain. What an experience it was! We loved it so so much. Our guide was amazing. We got to know so much of the people and culture of Lesotho and the bread that we were offered while listening to the interesting stories of tha Basotho, was to die for! The only bad thing was, when we got to the Highest Pub in Africa for lunch, our pre-booked table was given to someone else and we had to sit somewhere else. Still had a wonderfull time. Thank you so much Angie and Greg!!!

We were greeted at 9am by Greg. He was very knowledgeable about the history between Lesotho and South Africa and shared this throughout the journey. The journey was scenic. The kids were absolutely thrilled as they got to build a snow man! Passport control was smooth and efficient, making the border crossing quick and hassle-free. A thoughtful touch was a blanket in the car that we used to warm up after being outside. We also had the chance to taste traditional bread—my son absolutely enjoyed it! The experience was really outstanding. Highly recommend. Overall, this was an outstanding tour experience—highly recommended.

Our guide Nathi picked us up on time at our hotel and was very informative from the start. All the snacks and treats that are advertised were provided. Both border crossings were fast and effortless. He patiently waited for us at all the stops we requested for photos. His knowledge of the Basotho people was really good. Would recommend this company for trips up Sani Pass.

Greg picked us up from our cottage on the agreed time. He shared his knowledge of not only the pass, but also of the area of Himeville and Underberg. He stopped when we wanted to take a special photo, especially of the waterfalls along the way. We were treated with home baked muffins and cookies on our way up. Border control was a breeze with his assistance. We never felt unsafe on the pass, his driving skills were excellent. He allowed us enough time at the stops to take pictures and just to enjoy the nature. His knowledge of Lesotho and their traditions and culture made the experience much more memorable. We would recommend this private tour.
