Savor Bologna's Secrets: Unforgettable Walking Food Tour
On our Secret Food Tour Bologna: we'll provide you with an unforgettable taste experience. We'll start with a traditional welcoming sweet. Then, we'll visit one of the oldest Salumeria of the city to learn more about the local meat products and the famous pastas. You'll enjoy: Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, Mortadella di Bologna and many more regional cold cuts in the oldest Osteria in the world with a glass of our local wine. Next we have planned a taste of fresh, handmade pasta made just for us at a local Trattoria, always with a glass of local wine (and a coffee, if you like it) Then we will visit the main local food market, called Quadrilatero, and we'll enjoy a tasting of different types of balsamic vinegar from Modena (8-12-25 years of aging) to discover how this amazing tradition is still deeply rooted in this region. Please note that we are not able to offer any gluten-free or vegan option yet.

We had a great tour with Katarina who provided a lot of insight into the local food scene and history. The places we went were interesting and welcoming and the food we tasted was outstanding. Would thoroughly recommend.

Mattia was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed all of the food, especially the pasta. The tour took all around old town Bologna. It is a beautiful city. I would highly recommend this food tour and with Mattia.

Just the right pace. Claire was excellent. Great food and made some friends along the way. Very accommodating to a food allergy as well. Lots of history of the city and the role that food plays into the culture.

Claire was friendly and knowledgeable. The food tour was exactly as described, both the length and the food being offered. The pasta was great and very authentic and fresh. The wine was more than enough and the stop for different cuts of meat was a fun experience.

Matteo was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable and his English was great. Food and drink were more than plentiful. I felt like I ate three dinners and two desserts. Totally worth the time and money.
