The tour guide was difficult to understand and did not share much information about Bratislava. I do not recommend this tour. The tour of the city was finished by 11:30am and there was not much more to see after that, so we paid 10 Euros per person to change our catamaran tickets to the 2:30 pm return to Vienna instead of the 6:30 pm included with the tour. Bratislava was nice, but again, very small for a whole day tour.

Beautiful mountain city , guide Mr Evan was knowledgeable and funny and walking tour was enjoyable. Took a palace tour in the sight seeing coach from the opera and it was helpful in visiting the castle. The return journey by the twin city liner was amazing though we preponed it to 2.30pm for getting a little extra time in Vienna.

The history of Slovakia told in about one and a half hours by tour guide Ivan who made it fun and educational at the same time. More interesting information from the audio in the Oldtimer ride to the castle. Once we were there however, we were given only 20 minutes for exploration, which was totally inadequate given the size of the grounds and the castle itself -- a couple of snapshots, a trip to the WC, then it was time to go back to the vehicle. The free time to explore the old town, we felt, was too long before the 6 pm return trip to Vienna by catamaran. After lunch, we walked the old town, shopped for souvenirs, and went to see the Blue Church, and had coffee in a nice coffee shop, there was nothing left for us to do but wait for the boat for 2 hours. After we finally got our tickets, we were not told by the ticketing person that the seats were numbered and that our group of 4 were seated separately from each other. What a bummer in an otherwise okay trip.

Very nice day trip to a nation’s capital. Wonderful old town. Guide was “ok” … could have been a bit more informational. Note that the bus trip is just transport; no “tour” until arrival. Also it was late in year (mid-Oct) for the Catamaran since it was dark and couldn’t see much along the Danube.

The boat ride back is what saved this tour. The initial walking part was very bland & mundane. We started the tour at 9:45am & were done by 11:00am. We were then left to ourselves for 7 hrs as the boat reservation wasn't until 6pm. Luckily I was able to take an earlier time back to Vienna.

It serves the purpose of getting to Bratislava but walking guided tour is only 1.5 hours out of entire day. Really can do it by yourself on boat to Bratislava, then pick up a guided tour there then boat back. Too many people per one tour guide though she was really really good but 25 or so people in a group some with disabilities. I would book the boat both ways then do a drive around hop on/ hop off trolley and do a walking tour on the ground/ plenty of vendors. That way you can do it at your own pace.

Probably a 2 pm return is better. The guide was outstanding. Very knowledgeable. Very open to answering all our questions

Bratislava is beautiful and enjoyed exploring the city and trying their food. The catamaran cruise back was good. Would recommend.

The boat ride back has assigned seats but we were not told or given a choice when issueing tickets only to find out that we got the worst seats.

The experience was lovely in that we had a nice bus ride to Bratislava and a special boat trip back on the Catamaran. The town is beautiful. The walking tour, however, in Bratislava was very mediocre. The tour guide Zuzana moved like a speed walker. She even laughed about what a fast walker she was so she is aware of what she is doing and didn’t bother to wait for folks to catch up. Her English is also not up the level of a proper guide. Knowledge was perhaps average.
