This tip-based tour is ideal for first-time visitors wanting to get oriented and understand the city. Expect engaging explanations, time for questions, and honest recommendations. I never promote commission-based businesses. Groups are small (around 15–20 people). The tour has two parts: the Old Town (1h 45m) and an optional uphill walk to the Castle grounds (45m). Most guests leave €15–20 per person in total, including the €3–4 booking fee. The €3 you paid is a reservation fee securing your spot; it is shared between Viator and the guide. As your guide, I’m compensated primarily through tips at the end. Tips accepted in cash or by card. Not recommended for travelers with hearing difficulties. The Castle section may be physically demanding.

Brief but very informative about city history. We visited many historic places and learned a bit of their culture as well.

Sebastian is an engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. It was a superb afternoon walking and hearing about the history and culture of Slovakia and Bratislava. Nothing was to much trouble. We were guided skillfully through the festive crowds without issue. Sebastian kindly gave us his tips and inside, local knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyable and definitely recommended.

Was wonderful. Sebastian is very well trained, very pleasant interaction, totally recommend him. Very interesting the route and the culinary recommendations. He knows the city history very well.

The tour was a good introduction to Bratislava and the history. Sebastian gave us an easily understandable overview and good tips on things we could do later and places to eat at etc. The pace if the tour was comfortable and enjoyable.

Interesting, helpful and informative guide. Good mix of history, practical advice, recommendations and outdoor/indoor stops. Went to a traditional restaurant Sebastian pointed out on the tour and wasn't disappointed. Would definitely recommend.

What a great tour and even better guide. Very informative and nicely paced. Sebastian does a great job showing you all of the highlights of Bratislava. You get a very good idea of the layout of the city and made us feel comfortable exploring even more on our own after the tour. We received great tips, great historical information, and really appreciated how fun and friendly the whole experience was.

This walking tour was amazing and I would highly recommend this tour with Sebastian! This is my 3rd trip to Bratislava and I learnt so much from Sebastian who is extremely knowledgable. The group was a nice size and I made some friends along the way! Thanks Sebastian 😀

Great way to start out a trip. Sebastian was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bratislava, and gave some very helpful advice and recommendations.
